Sheesh... say what you will about Ainge's C Bags stench and ruining this offseason's trade market but he nailed both these trades. Please take notes Rob

Once again the media " experts " don't seem to be as plugged in as they project. Cleveland? LOL..Anyway..now I'm interested in who gets cut in Utah..We may be able to snag Vanderbilt and Rudy Gay on the cheap. Trade the Jazz a player they can cut for a future 2nd rd pick or something.

Nope. Clarkson and Bogdanovic maybe and follow up with a Myles Turner solo deal. Awesome move that would be...Beverley eliminated the need for Conley IMO.

Nice trade for the Jazz. Let's get on the phone with Ainge now, something can be done here to help both teams, I'm sure. They need to make space, there's no better contract than Westbrook's to shed at the end of the year -- it's just perfect for both teams.

I’m probably reaching, but maybe Woj is hinting at a Russ + FRP for those three players?

I’m not sure if any other team is going to be lining up to give a first rounder for any combination of those guys.

I’d still like to trade with them, but now I feel like Ainge will demand both picks for role players just to be an a**

Ainge is going to try and gouge Rob...he has to do something because he has too many players as is. We need to be the ones making out on top in any deal with Utah.

I am telling you -- it's just a great opportunity for both teams. No one would give 2 picks, but one... it's doable for us.

Who would of thought he could get 5 picks for Gobert. I think you’re focusing on what a normal package and off-season would look like. For those three guys you’re probably looking at two firsts and Reaves. Just because it’s Ainge…

Yeah, but no one will go there, and he needs to get rid of players now. 1 FRP is what he can get from us.

Definitely not 2 FRP..this is why I say give up the other FRP for Turner. Turner, Bogdonavic and Clarkson make up 49 million combined...right there in range for Russ and 2 FRP!!

Do it Rob!!! LOL..I'm not giving up on the Myles Turner angle just yet. I'd be willing to take Jordan and Bogdonavic over Buddy Hield even it costs an unprotected FRP.

Agreed, if you can somehow make it a multi-team trade that brings back 2 of the Jazz roleplayers AND Turner (or someone of his caliber), I pull the trigger on 2 FRP’s. (Although that feels too complicated to me. What would Indy get out of it? How is Utah incentivized to bring Indy into the mix?)

Otherwise, there is NO scenario I can envision in which it would make sense to give up both picks in a direct trade with the Jazz.

We could send Russ and 1 FRP to Indiana for Turner and Hield. Send Hield and Gabriel with the other FRP to Utah for Clarkson and Bogdanovic. Deal done.

Indiana gets an unprotected FRP. And Russ expiring.

Utah gets an Unprotected FRP and a shooter.

We get Turner, a scorer and a shooter.

Everyone's happy..a fair exchange is not a swindle.

3 unprotected and two swaps is...a lot.

and sexton is a poor man's mitchell, and markannen is a useful player.

this is almost equal to what we gave up for AD, tbh. and i don't think mitchell is on that level or will be.

Westbrook/Nunn/2027 unprotected 1st for Bojan/Conley/Beasley works. Same deal could also be done for Clarkson, but unfortunately Clarkson is not a good fit.

What is this Conley obsession about? Dude is 6'1 and not that great of a facilitator. He makes over 26 million dollars too. Nunn and Bev..maybe adding Schroder would be sufficient at the PG. Lebron is the PG anyway. What does Conley bring to the table that we are soo desperately needing?

I am not a huge fan either. But he fits better than Clarkson.
