    I've gone from "we're getting Kyrie!" to "Hield and Turner is just as good" to "something like Bogdanovic/Beasley/Reddish is fine I guess" to "damn it, we're trading for Randle aren't we".

    Wow that was unexpected… the Cavaliers going in! They’ve got a nice young front court there to pair alongside Garland and Mitchell now.

    At least a domino fell but yeah its these quiet trades that tend to happen more. Too much noise about NY and our part in it.

    At least least the players we've been tied to on Utah are still there. NY players are probably out of the picture now. Indy is still probably asking for the moon and more now. Spurs still being suspiciously quiet for a team with no PG and salary they needed to spend.

    But yeah, really a big fan of what Cavs have done last season and now with this trade. Sexton is good but it was clear Garland is the better between the two. Lauri was always a weird addition but they signed him for this exact reason, salary ballast. Garland, Mitchell, Mobley and Allen might make some playoff noise.

    As bad as our off-season has been, it gives me some solace that at least we’re not the Knicks.

    Absolutely hilarious that they’re just now officially announcing the Barrett extension

    I think you’re allowed to exceed the max roster spots during the off-season, you just have to trim down by the start of the season.

    But maybe this does keep the door open for a direct trade with Utah. With Sexton, they probably want to feature him and have even less need for Conley.

    Let’s go get Conley and Bogdanovic

    cavs are looking good, but that's quite an overpayment for mitchell. does utah now own every pick in the next 5 drafts?

    rob will probably panic now and trade russ for conley/bogdanovic

    Wow, didn't see that coming. Great trade for both teams.
    Cavs get a bonafide superstar without touching their core. They have a strong young team so picks should be worthless. Utah gets a couple young guys with a still unknown ceiling that still make them bad enough to be in lottery contention.

    I think this actually puts us in a great position to send Russ there, they can get rid of 3 salaries and Russ can play with Sexton.
