I rediscovered ad blocker after some of the recent content. Can't have my wife thinking I'm on "that kind of" sports site
For the mods and Barns: If you have to relegate yourselves to "risqué" ads to cover expenses for the site, why don't we do this. Lakers Fast Break is starting to get an audience. We are at 258 subscribers. Up almost triple since I started 11 months ago. If we reach 1,000 subs, we can start monetizing, whatever my share is, I can through back at the site and keep your costs low or done completely depending on the success of the show. Let me know. Maybe we can have everyone on LB subscribe on YouTube. I know some have already but maybe everyone can and we can help the site out. I don't know how many regulars are on here but I'm sure there are 1,000-2,000 peeps who post and most probably just come to read info.

LOL, I was wondering the same thing and trying to think what I must have clicked on recently to get this ad. Because I’ve been seeing some risqué ads from this “Whispers” app involving women for a while, so seeing this one recently caught me off guard. Maybe it says something about me that I didn’t speak up or take issue until the ads turned “brokeback mountain”, but I promise I’m not homophobic!
If you all ever see risqué or NSFW content on LB, know I didn’t authorize it on purpose. No problems paying for the site and hosting, but sometimes I’ll get a request from Google to do something different with the ads. This time they asked to run an experiment with them and I thought there wouldn’t be any harm. The first experiment they ran was full page ads, which I promptly shut down. Now it looks like the experiment turned off the content blocks I had for NSFW ads. I didn’t know as the ads are tailored to the individual visitor. When I get home tonight I’ll turn the experiments off and fix it.
All I see are disgusting ear wax ads because I searched for ear cleaning ONE TIME! One freaking time…f*** Google
About 10 months ago I was getting really annoyed with seemed like ramping up of the obvious tracking adds on everything following using google to search on anything. Just blatant and obvious and annoying as f***. Didn’t matter what the searches were for. Installed a couple free add blockers on computer and phone …. boom problem solved.
Ads are one thing, but skanks messaging me on Facebook or text messaging, and even on the Playstation is ridiculous. Probably some fat guy in Des Moines trying to catfish me into sending them money so they can ooh lala over social media lines. Who the hell does this garbage?
