Yeah, having a PG that can get the ball to people in a position to score and hit his 3's sounds pretty good right now doesn't it.
Yeah! LOL. We did it for signing Swaggy (I think) but would have been interesting to see "if" Byron could have done anything with him to strengthen his weaknesses. Obviously D'antoni allowed him to excel with his strengths..... great awareness, vision and passing skills.
hell of a game, the catalyst that got the lakers back in it. i didn't realize he was as old as he is, certainly doesn't show it. is there a case for him starting over lin?
Dude is athletic and quick as hell, plus he has Artest like quickness with his hands for smacking the ball out of his man's hands. A beast on defense to throw at the beasty PGs we face if they are hurting us big. Much better on offense and with his handles than our scouting report at CL led us to believe IMO. If Lin and Price can stay healthy, don't much care what Nash does at this point. Heck of a game and he can play big minutes if needed.
We finally have a PG that can play some defense. That's almost unheard of for us. If Lin and Price are healthy, Nash should never see the court, he can rot on the bench and count his money.
Competitive, feisty, won't lay down, always competes, works hard at both ends; yeah, I'd say he's a lock to be resigned to this team for the remainder of the season.
Many of us were clamoring for a legit backup PG this season even before Nash went down again. So glad Mitch found Price and I'm looking forward to him signing here. This was an absolute necessity. And Price can play on top of it! He has an infectious energy that is a great fit for us and for Byron. I can see why he and Kobe were so high on him. He is like the energizer bunny out there. He can go and go and is relentless on the defensive end. His offense is still pretty rough and out of control at times, but he does get guys some looks and man that behind the back pass to Wes in the lane was so sweet. Bottom line, I really like Price for our team.
he played well last night...i'll give hm his due if he can continue that play, i'm all in favor of making him the primary backup to Lin here's hoping that he's not like Wes that only shows up every 10 games
He played great last night, like Stu Lantz said the entire game, he really spearheaded the defense and played a huge part in the comeback. I'd like to see how his defense is against the star PGs of the league. A combo of Lin and Price gives us the best PG rotation we've had in some time. Now all we need is for Nash to go away and to see how Clarkson develops.
Yeah, he's an amazing defender. Can't really shoot, at least not consistently, but it's nice to finally have a "defense first" PG.
