Same stuff as above broken down

I wonder what it would take to get Bogdan, we could use a shooter like that badly.

If Pat Bev is headlining any trade. You lost.

How do you sell that to a fan base? I know you guys were hoping for Kyrie. We didn't get him. But guess what?! We got Patrick Beverley!

Picks-wise no, but Minny did not get anywhere near the package of talent that we gave. And one of our picks was a #4. Then again, we got AD, not Gobert who should not be being treated like a tier-one superstar.

Don’t wanna see Pat Bev here unless he’s bought out by Utah (I just threw up in my mouth a little at the thought of that cretin wearing the colors of basketball royalty).

I don’t think he would. Maybe off the bench. It would be solely as a salary dump for them.

Patrick Beverly for the minimum after a buyout would be a great pick up.

I used to buy in to the "Pat Bev trick yall, he dont play defense, he just runs around doing nothing" quote to hate on Pat Bev since he's so unlikable. But after a year of getting to know the source of that quote very well, I don't put as much stock into it. The eye test of watching Pat Bev on the T'wolves tells me that he at least puts effort into defense and has the kind of grit/attitude that playoff teams need.

But of course, trading for him right now would be terrible asset management.

i still think he's overrated as a defender, but he's not overrated in terms of cultural impact. that is, he does play hard and it makes everyone else accountable--basically the opposite of our stars last year and part of what caruso brought (i think i've said that caruso is what folks think pat beverly is).

Not the combination of Woj/Shams tweets referring to Westbrook, the Spurs, and Klutch that I was hoping for

I said earlier that this team is one of the most unlikable I've ever seen. The Lakers must have read that post and thought, "Pat Beverly would totally change his mind! All Laker fans love him!"

I can see how that convo went: "Russ my boy, you need to face the facts, you are not the force you were once believed to be, the holes in your game have been exposed. We need to face the probability that you will likely be an MLE-type player from here on out"

Ross: "Um riiiiiiiight..." (Dr Evil voice)

If he's lucky. It's entirely possible he's going to Iverson himself out of the league.

Russ not listening to his agent shows he hasn’t accepted the current reality of where he’s at in his career.
