Are you able to sign guys on another team's summer league roster to two-way contracts? I'd love if we took a flier on Darius Days, he's a 6'7" forward on the Spurs' summer league team that has been shooting and defending really well.
Who are you taking off our existing 2 ways we just signed? You only get 2 and they have only played a few SL games.
If he can keep up the shooting in the regular league he’ll have a long career. His size makes up for not being atheltic. I’d probably compare him more to Doug McDermott than Duncan Robinson though
Can't recall the last time I've seen such good form with such horid results. It'll get better when Christie develops a NBA ready body. Trudell compared it to BI's shot his rookie year during a pod this week.
Remember Sasha Vujacic? Had beautiful form on his 3 point shot, never missed in practice or warm ups. Was actually awful in game for the most part. He had a couple of seasons where he shot 37%+ from 3 but he also had several seasons shooting in the low 30% range
I don't expect any of these guys to contribute anytime soon. All need development. That said, I've liked what I seen from a couple of them. Christie needs work IMO but that is to be expected.
does that mean we cant expect simple things like making his shots? not expecting him to be a star or nothing here
i agree that mccoy may not be an nba guy, but he should have a solid career overseas, at least. decent size and speed for his skill set. kind of a tweener guard, and those guys do better in europe, i think.
It’s Summer League and the kid has a couple years of development ahead of him. If we picked him at number six or something similar, then yeah, I would be a bit frustrated at his shooting.
lol, thought swider was going to blow that layup when i was watching live. knee could have buckled wrong or he could just be that sorry an athlete, lol. he definitely can shoot, though, no question about that. huff looked like a man with boys again.
