Gordon is a former client of Rob's tho. So is Bradley, Hield, and Drummond, ..and so was Durant and Harden btw.

Yeah. He’s done. Don’t get why we would be interested.

I’m not a fan but if we really feel like we’re going to need a guard we probably should bring in Pat Bev

4 years out of the NBA and is 34? Are we friggin brain-dead? The 1/2 hour he played for us last season was telling enough, literally, his per 36 was less than 4/4/2 pts/reb/ast

I mean, he's our hometown boy here in Rancho Cucamonga, but that's cool, we'll pass.

I think it depends. We have holes at shooting and wing defense, there's a chance the backup options to acquire those via trade dry up.

Also if we move Nunn, we'll need a PG off the bench and that market could definitely be gone by the time we're shopping again.

I don't think Kyrie can sit. He has to prove that he can play some games in the regular season. Otherwise he shoots himself in the foot with his next contract. I don't think they send him home either if they don't move him. He might be part time, but they need to try to win as many as they can since they have no picks.

Ultimately I think both KD and Kyrie get to go where they want -- Phoenix and LA. Players call all the shots in today's NBA and the owners are too concerned about ruffling feathers for their next target. They want to be seen as player friendly and collaborate.

I think we're in a worse spot with Russ. Kyrie is the one who wants to leave. But we're the ones who want to dump Russ, his ego won't sit well with that and would make for an uncomfortable training camp. Knowing we have been repeatedly shopping him and they Bron wants Kyrie there "more than anything." Don't see that sitting well.

If Russ starts any trouble with the team, I would tell him to just stay home. It’s not like he will contribute to wins. We’ll play better without him.

there's a FA Point Guard we wanted to pay over 20M/season 1 year ago that can't get a team, and we're working out with Collison?

    Rob talking to Collison.

Between this and the Buddy Hield obsession, he's one persistent obsessed man. If you're obsessed with a player can it at least be a good one?

    Bev, Dennis or
Kyrie isn't changing his vaccination status, and seriously, after all that talk the Nets did about "accountability and availability" I don't see them holding out and trying to work something out with him. Russ just cashed in for 47 million dollars, whatever happens, he's a free agent again next summer. I don't think Westbrook is going be too upset, regardless of where he lands. If anything he will be trying to ball out wherever that is, with an eye on his next contract. KD..IDK..he's under contract for 4 more years with no opt out clause. He may not end up going wherever he wants. He'll be 38 when his contract is up and after the hoopla dies down over him asking out, the offers might not be as incredible as most think.

BUT .... he's in the exact same boat as Kyrie .... he needs to play and play well and for the team per what the new coach and staff who have LEVERAGE want him to do. If he's here and repeats his absolute BS attitude and crappy play from last year, he won't even sniff a TP MLE ever again possibly. Certainly not higher with a full. He may not even if he plays well and cooperates ever see 10M a season again as it is. Whether or not LeBron and AD are healthy again ever for a season. LOL. Like other teams care about those two while watching from afar Westbrick's act.

Yep and as said right above if that happens he's looking at vet minimum going forward or China.

Raps on Pelinka's head hard, "hello McRob" .... Bif :D

If he's not traded, the issue is it will be a process before we get there with Russ. It won't be one incident and he's sent home. They'll give Ham and the team a chance to figure it out and see what they can get out of him. 20 games? That's too many.

Difference between the Russ and Kyrie situation is Kyrie sat out, he has to show that he will play. Russ has a history of availability, I don't think sitting changes that resumé. He's not getting anywhere near his current salary unless he's the sole reason we go 82-0 and sweep our way to a championship. And we all know that's not happening.

They should tell him to “stay home” if a deal isn’t done before training camp begins.

I don’t like PatBev, but I would sign him instead of Collison ten times out of ten.

haha marks fu**ed up with harden so bad that he’s being extra tough now with the kyrie and KD trades.

I mean, BKN can get 4 picks, and a young stud or two for KD

    1-2 FRP for kyrie

AND If they trade Simmons, another couple of FRPs… the Nets aren’t in a horrible position at all IMO.

Doesn't make sense. If we're going to roster a body just cause, then please bring back Rondo. At least he has ties to the team, can lead the locker room, help coach, and get Ham's vision through to these kids.DC brings none of that.

I really like the way the roster is constructed if we can add Kyrie.

We still have something's to modify, but otherwise? I'm liking it.

With Russ? We're probably a first round exit currently.

Kyrie makes this team an instant contender.
