Well Klutch's job is to look out for their clients, and nobody knows that better than Rob. For some reason I don't think it's actually them.

But I could see it being about Lebron. I could it somewhat about Magic. I could see it about our "trio of stars" as a generality, and their willingness to put team first. Beyond that, I'm not sure other parties make any sense.

Well, I don't believe any rurmors of other teams involved of wanting Kyrie. Kyrie has proven to be a headcase. He could be erratic, unpredictable for his passion for the game. Teams will not want to take him on without knowing that he want's to play there, from what I heard, he wants to play for the Lakers only and scared teams off of only being a rental if they do go after him. The Nets will either have to do the trade or deal with him until the trade deadline, which will lower his value even more imo.

Trudeau may have other opinions on the matter, so one never knows. Hopefully all parties will be aligned in their approach to how they handle everything.

It's when approaches don't match based on region, etc that really seems to cause issues.

Jeanie is very emotional. The tweet is surprising because I have never seen her tweet anything like that unless I'm mistaken? Now what she said? Isn't surprising.

It's directed at LBJ/Klutch, IMO. BKN is asking for the moon and attempting to fleece is, LBJ is asking us to sell the farm, etc. This is how it goes.

Sean Marks has to the best job he can because he has superiors (Joe Tsai) to report to. The issue is Kyrie nuked any leverage he had and there's market for him presently.

We're both trying to trade distressed assets; we need to find a healthy compromise. Come September when training camp starts, there's no way LAL wants WB back and vice versa with Irving back in BK.

So, we wait. Who blinks first?

I agree that both teams need to meet in the middle. The Nets need to accept the reality of what Kyrie is worth.

    Exactly.

And I understand Jeanie's situation with the money. I totally get it. But the moment she gets Kyrie and we have a semblance of good health, we'll be right back in the PO's where the Lakers will draw much more revenue.

The luxury tax especially the repeater is a pain, though. I get it. I'm just not so sure if it's Sean being tough in negotiations as others. It could be ownership that has to get their head out of their a** and on our end Klutch that keeps saying, "sell the farm..."

Remember, when Bron liked the dude in the Ram picture who had the T-Shirt (was it Les Snead) celebrating after they won the SB, "F Them Picks..."

Yeah I remember that. LeBron hears the clock ticking and wants to win now. He’s got to patient and let things play out.

I think he's probably trying to leverage it in his extension negotiations.

how, though? and again, if he's rattling sabers here, we can just get out of the klutch business and have a clean slate.

i'd prefer we try to win next year, but if lebron's going to try to mortgage us out a decade past his exit, i think we need to just facilitate his exit.

btw, in this hypothetical, i'm trading lebron for players, not picks. we don't control our picks in the short-term, so i'd rather try to build a competitive roster that's not terrible to watch.

He doesn't want to leave Los Angeles.

Ireland says he loves it here. Ireland is a Lakers apologist, but Ramona has also said the same.

He will if his kid gets drafted to another team, but otherwise? Don't think he's going anywhere. He also wants that extension, IMO.

    It's a long off-season. We'll be okay.

I think he’s being a diva. I’m definitely open to moving him. I wouldn’t be held hostage by him at all. If he doesn’t want to extend then so be it.
