And Harden is doing this for the likes of PJ Tucker. As bat s*** crazy as he is, Kyrie is at worst 10x the player PJ Tucker is.

Kyrie is already a movie star. Bron productions can help push him as the lead in a few more movies. LA can really help Kyrie even without Nike. The international shoe and merch money up for grabs if you're a Laker star will get him snatched by a competitor like Adidas as soon as he's traded. Also regarding film, Harden can't get movies unless they're doing a gender reverse of Shallow Hal.

No additional info, just some tea leaf reading.

If we have both Jones and Bryant on minimum deals, dollar for dollar we have the best value at the position in the NBA.

    Some of Swartz's other predictions:
    Dragic to Mavs
DS to Miami (hope Butler punches him)
    Ayton to Indy

That clip is old, came out on Thursday night. I'm not sure why they posted it like this is some breaking news from Shams. To get views I guess. Kyrie killed the noise by saying it's Lakers one way or another.

    3 stars..meh..Magic, Kareem, Worthy.
..Bird, McHale, Parish, Johnson. Jordan, Pippen, Rodman,Grant. .Lebron, Wade,Bosh.. Lebron, Kyrie, Love... Garnet,Pierce, Allen..Curry, Green, Thompson.. Giannis, Middleton, Holliday..I mean those last two make over 30 million a piece. They are above Kcp, Danny Green caliber in the 1st place.Shaq and Kobe were a dominant duo true, Kobe and Gasol not as much. Kawhi wasn't exactly playing with a team of role players in Toronto either..Lowry was an All Star. The Spurs had 4 or 5 guys that will end up in the HOF. Talent wins, the more you have the better your chances. Let's not forget KD on Golden State..without the injuries, Toronto wouldn't have a Chip. If anything our team is an outlier not a blueprint. We won a chip with James and Davis and a bunch of Vet mins basically. Danny Green is the only guy that was getting paid. I think Avery and Javale were the next highest paid players on that team, and Avery didn't make it to Orlando, Javale didn't really play a lot. It definitely doesn't tilt towards the Kcp's, Kuzma and Caruso's of this league. Not saying that it CAN'T be done, it's just rarer. The high end players make a similar impact wherever they go, the role players do to a lesser extent. That's why they are role players and can be easier to replace.

Lebron is pushing 40, when we land Kyrie, I don't think money is going to be some kind of huge deal to him. The stage is almost set for him to go out on a high note. He'll have the two young guns that helped him win his last two titles and both are in their prime. We've shown with our summer league, that we will at the very least, give Bronny a shot. That dude couldn't ask for much more. Oh yeah, the team is mostly compromised of his um.. ..Rich's clients. I wouldn't be surprised if Kyrie converts to Klutch next season. The future isn't as bleak as it was portrayed a week ago.

    Thank you. Let's get realistic.

    Thomas Bryant 6'10 with a 7-6 wingspan.

I've been watching highlights; I had to get familiar with him again. I think he should be placed as a "helper" on defense. I don't think he has the ability to guard in space.

His shot quality should be high on this team, so I'm hoping he continues to space the floor well. Great st rolling to the rim and hopefully can also be used in pick in pop situations.

    Would like this signing.

Noticed he hasn't taken more than 2 three attempts his whole career.

Also, if he doesn't work out, take a look at Huff if he continues is nice play in SL.

Bryant had great stretches when he was healthy. Defenses have to respect his ability to shoot the 3, which would be huge in itself.

It would be cool for Thomas to return. I think we chose Zubac over keeping him, my memory is fuzzy sometimes.

You guys realize if KD is coming to Phoenix that the Pacific Division which is comprised of: Lakers, GS, Phoenix, and Sac would have Durant, Kawhi, PG, Booker, Paul, Irving, AD, etc.

    That's wild.

Could be. Doesn't average many attempts historically but if you look at the game logs he has some decent shooting stretches. Career 35% is good enough for me considering he had 50 game stretches in the 41% range. Respecting a 3 ball is important regardless.

It will be interesting what happens with Ayton's contract. If he went to Brooklyn, he and Simmons can't both be on rookie max extensions.

Ayton isn't interesting, nor is his next destination. Sorry.

lol, media tripping over themselves to invent suitors for kyrie, but simultaneously claim kd can dictate his destination quite easily. um, gaiz, one of them is a FA next year who's known for being fickle and unavailable. the other is under contract for 4 years and has never been a problem for his organization. one has many interested parties and limited control, the other has few and a high degree of control.

also, i think this has been discussed here already, but i didn't remember. this is exactly what i was thinking was happening. i'd take harris's contract if it meant i kept a pick or got great protections on them, etc. and it's good that it's a bargaining chip.

Joe Harris played an average of 73 games the last 4 years before 2022. He averaged 45% from 3 in those 4 years. His contract ends in 2024. I might be in the minority here but we need him as a player not just a contract filler. Take both him and Seth, man, those two are exactly what a Lebron offense needs.

Top 8 protected 2027 and 2029 and let's f***ing go meet the C Bags I'm next years finals so we can get 18 on their floor.

    Let's be frank here.

The inclusion of Harris would put the Lakers into a really high tax penalty, perhaps even over that of the Clippers and Warriors.

    James 44.5 million
    Davis 38
    Irving 36.9
    Harris 18.6
    Horton-Tucker 10.3
    Walker 6.5
    Nunn 5.3
    Johnson 2.4
    Jones 2.3
    Brown 1.8
    Toscano-Anderson 1.8
    Reaves 1.6
    Christie 1.5

Total (13) 169.7 million and we still need 2 minimum spots filled- so way over 170 million

Maybe we can add Nunn to the deal to lessen the blow, but I doubt the Nets want to take on anymore money and definitely not THT's 10 million...

I am hesitant to think Buss and co. are willing to go as high as 170 million, which is why they would rather have Curry's 8.5 million; to say nothing about still wanting to trade THT/Nunn to get a different player (preferably a wing) that better serves this roster which would be too guard-heavy and is still lacking defensive wings....

Also, as has been mentioned- Curry instead of Harris (as well as unloading THT) would put us in a much better position for 2023 as far as cap space....

Getting Irving to waive his trade kicker is also a good bargaining chip btw....(saves Nets 5.5 million)
