    It would seem the Kyrie deal would have to get done first, although I may be biased.

    Windy had a good point that Kyrie could tell the Nets he would waive his trade kicker if traded to Lakers, but keep it for anywhere else. Essentially forcing his way here while kind of helping them out.

    Not liking the trade if Reaves has to be included…

    My trust in Rob is dependent on this trade, whether it happens or not and what we do if it doesn’t. Kyrie has done almost everything possible to give us leverage and to think Rob might have to overpay? Ugh

    LOL of course Durant wants to play with 3 other stars, such a freaking frontrunner. Couldn’t win with Russ and Adams/Ibaka, couldn’t win with Kyrie and Harden. Has to have 3 other big names, so soft.

    its a weird situation because they don't have much leverage, but they know we're desperate. This trade makes or breaks the season for us.

    The leverage for the league is you don't make trades with the Lakers unless you make us overpay.

    Sorry, star was a bit much, I guess I mean all-stars, even if former, he clearly needs to be surrounded by big names, just like GS with Curry, Klay, and Green (plus they went and got Boogie, which was pathetic).

    I think Robs limitations are on full display right now but he can redeem himself with a good deal here.

    In the past teams didn’t want to help us but Jerry West and then Mitch were respected and had such good relationships that we were able to get deals done despite that.

    Now teams don’t want to help us and they don’t like Rob so it’s a double whammy. We are relying on Klutch and his former clients signing with us. That’s not tenable long term.

    Robs got to turn that around or he won’t be here for long.

    If they didn't learn their lesson from losing Caruso last year, guys who can play D, hustle, pass, shoot, they better not give up Reaves unless it's a return in much better current value of Reaves right now. Reaves will only get better, he will be an important piece to surround star players, like Caruso was in 2020
