    Yeah, I wouldn’t mind him for one season on a vet minimum. I respect his intensity and how he gets under player’s skins.

    Was hopeful yesterday that a Kyrie trade was going to be imminent. But now it feels like this is going to drag on for a while with the Nets trying to play hard ball, and I can’t rule out the possibility that the Nets go in a different direction just to spite Kyrie and not help him get to his desired destination.

    GMs don't seem to value most players as much as the fans do period. Guys get traded for garbage all the time. It seems to be more about matching salary and netting a future draft pick in most cases.

    Pretty disappointed with our offseason. We’ve basically filled the team up with young guys, but lack real size defensively at the wing and point of attack defence. We also have no real shooting in who we signed and are probably losing our two best shooters from last year in Melo and Monk.

    Meanwhile all around the league, teams are getting considerably better and we got the BFF duo of Walker IV and TBJ. I do like Jones being back and Toscano is a nice 10th man.

    Looks like Otto Porter Jr signed for a portion of Toronto’s MLE. I assume it’s around 8m? So not too far off the mMLE. Bruce Brown signed for the equivalent of the mMLE too.

    Offensively KAT is one of the best shooting big man of all time and Gobert is handy as a roll man and lob threat. Defensively how do you hide KAT on the perimeter? He isn’t as nimble as an AD…

    Wondering if he’s trying to say he has now been freed (ie trade is close), or just suggesting he feels he’s currently in a cage and wants to be let free.

    … and also wondering how it got to this point where we were champions a few years ago and now I’m here trying to interpret GIFs posted by Kyrie Irving :D
