Apologies for being MIA, I have had a monster travel schedule recently. Things are really quiet in Laker Land, which is unusual. Not much optimism internally that Westbrook cant be dealt without giving up 1-2 FRPs. FO trying to keep them for future flexibility, so they're trying to see if they can make it work. External comms are to please Westbrook's camp and make it clear to other teams that they aren't willing to give up too much to get him off the books. In the case of Irving, they are willing to give up the picks, but Brooklyn wants no part of Westbrook. LA is aggressively searching for a third team to offload him, but struggling to find suitors. Otherwise, there is nothing new compared to what's out there. They are trying to retain Monk for cheap and searching for younger big men like Bamba. 3&D wings are obviously a top priority but demand around the league is very high and LA has little flexibility. I am going to be off the grid for the nest few days, so please forgive me if I'm not as quick to report on the FA signings.
