RUMOR: Lakers open to Kevin Durant-Kyrie Irving trade package

"The NBA rumor mill is heating up as the Los Angeles Lakers seem to be a serious contender to acquire Kyrie Irving. Even so, there are reports that Irving and Kevin Durant are still interested to play alongside each other. With that in mind, it sounds like the Lakers are in play for a potentially monster trade.

According to Brian Windhorst, rumblings around the league believe Los Angeles “would potentially have a package that you could trade for both of them.” If that’s true, then perhaps the Lakers are negotiating a massive deal to bring in Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving."



Not sure if I linked all this right, but....huh?!

Amongst other things, we would have to level our team and trade away future picks...again. And if KD/Kyrie hop every ship bc they didn't win immediately, then how are they future assets?

I hope this is just what it says...rumor mill. We cannot rebuild the franchise into the institution it once was if we level it year after year.

That being said, I can't see how this would even be possible.

Walker is decent..I wondered why his shot fell off some this season. (Chris Jent?) He also has weird floating like hops. Not a pogo stick type, he rises smoothly. Brown IDK..I saw a little bit of him when we played Chicago..I felt like some youngsters could be had on the cheap. We have 4 spots left. A shocker could still be in store.

 

We went from the oldest team to nearly the youngest in one off season. Rob sure does like roller coasters.

Love the Toscano and Jones pickups. Lonnie Walker is a worse Monk, Troy Brown I admittedly don’t know anything about.

This whole klutch thing leaves a bad taste in my mouth, it feels a bit like colluding. We have the owner of klutch (Lebron) just forcing his clients here. Feels a bit disingenuous.
