Last year could of been an outlier. For the most part, Griffin was over 34% on above average volume from three since 2017-2018. I would take a flier on him with the vets minimum.

I will miss Monk a lot if he goes

probably the only bright spot in last year's team.

I really hope we can get TJ Warren. I just feel like he could fit here. Idk why I think this.

Definitely lol, that’s usually my lunch break nap (gotta love working from home). So I’ll have to rearrange my work day, start of free agency is like Christmas to me!

Unfortunately … I suppose this must be like a Christmas where you know you’ve been naughty and Santa is bringing coal :D

I will too. He and Reaves were the bright spots and I love their chemistry too. I would much rather keep Monk than go for these over the hill or coming off injury wings. If we don’t move Russ the season will be a punt anyway. I’d rather try to keep our good young players for the future rather than obsess on fit now. Btw that does not include THT who I am not opposed to trading.

Monk already knew the max that we could pay him months ago.

Not a fan of spending money on Bamba. Watched him get crushed in match ups vs top tier centers. But we’re in a budgetary crisis, so beggars can’t be choosers.

Looks like Monk strategy is going to pay off, playing for a big market for pennies to cash in on a big pay day later

Say no to Bamba he's too focused on making and producing music we don't need a player that isn't focused on this team or in basketball

FA has not even started yeat but i have a feeling, we might end up with a worse team than last year. Is that even possible?

Who knows if Mann actually said this or what the context was. No clue if he actually has any inside info or if he’s just going off some of the reports about us being interested in Bamba.

Tried to see if Mann and Bamba had any connections. Does look like they were both born in NY and played some high school ball in New Hampshire, so maybe they know each other and are friends

Probably just a Clipper who enjoys messing with Laker fans.

bamba would be a surprisingly good pickup (still think it's highly unlikely), despite his limitations. sell him on the monk special.

try to sell one of the wing options on the same but at vet min.

Bambang would be perfect because he could spread the floor. AD in the middle with 4 shooters is ideal. I suppose Westbrook could be utilized in the second unit as the inside player? Surround him with 4 shooters. For example: Nunn, Forbes, Lamb and Griffin.

Thanks, yeah sounds like it certainly makes it more complicated. One of these days I'll get around to actually learning the cap rules for this sport I've been following for 20 years lol.

We need Vash back minus the Magic rhetoric.

Anyway, I'm thinking if we strike out on our MLE Targets, we split it up.

I'm back and forth on Porter at the moment for the full TPMLE..

I'm pretty sold on Bamba for the full TPMLE.

I think Monk is likely gone.

It’ll also be a good look if he signs elsewhere for $10mil…
