Waaaay too early to tell regarding the Westbrick trade. Day One hasn’t even officially begun. Just relax and wait for it to play out.

Interesting, slipped my mind that the 76ers would have to hardcap to offer PJ Tucker the MLE. And apparently they want to use the BAE too (also requires hardcap).

Either Harden is taking a huge paycut, or they’ll need to dump salary.

Maybe opportunity for a three team trade with us and OKC, with Tobias coming our way and Russ to OKC? (I know it would be simpler for the 76ers to just dump Harris without involving us, but I’m desperate lol)

I'm warming up a lil bit, it looks like this could turn out to be a young guys for cheap contracts FA market. Just what we needed.

    thank you.

ok, we've talked about most of these. we'll see if porter and house are available at mini mle. i said i'd take arguments on porter (i'm dubious), and house is maybe worth it, too.

i think warren's just a bigger monk and a much bigger risk than monk.

oubre's guarantee date is tomorrow. if they're that hard up for the 7 million difference, i have some russ trade options for them!

oladipo hasn't been a defender since the injuries and isn't big, as you said.

matthews and ingles are old vet mins that would be a poor use of our only non-min cash.

coffey and nwora--i'd have to take your word. stats say they're not worth much. i'd just pay monk. can't justify taking a flyer on unproven RFAs over a proven young player simply because they're taller.

Hoping this is the domino that gets trade activity to ramp up around the league

divincenzo's interesting but i'd note that despite a lot of hype, he hasn't been consistently great on d or from three. he is also monk's size.

been asking how philly is going to use the mle since it was announced. can't believe harden is going to take a big cut (should be investigated if he does, given his past behavior and morey's, tbh). maybe they have a taker for harris who will eat some of his salary into space?

Murray is a NICE young point guard, and a argument can easily be made he’s a better version of Lonzo and can stay healthy too.

It’s strange to me the Spurs are just giving him away for picks that are probably protected too

I would trade Westbrook+2027 pick to help the Hawks refurbish their picks lost here if they are willing to give back Bogdanovic and either Capela or John Collins.

From a Hawks standpoint, their starting back court is going to be Murray/Trae with DeAndre Hunter starting at the SF.

they don’t really need to pay Bogdonavic $18 mil for the next 3 years to come off the bench.

whys everyone so down on Collins anyway, he’s not a bad player and his contract isn’t absurd.

And have 3 point guards? Why would they do that?

If Westbrook had to stay on the team, my preference is to use the mini MLE on Otto Porter Jr (yes and let Monk walk if that’s what it means).

However, if we can trade Westbrook and get at least a starting caliber wing back, I’d be ok with the MLE going to Patty Mills. He’s a perfect roleplayer to surround AD/Lebron with

salary dump and buyout purposes. They get off longer contracts in Bogdonavic/Collins, buy out Westbrook and get a pick out of it
