    I'm not sure.

I like Cam's size on the wing and Alec gives us another option @ small forward and both can shoot, which is a premium at this level.

Nunn can but has knee issues @ 26 and THT has gotten worse.

Now, if you're telling me we can pair up THT and NUNN into a high level initiator and flip Russ, I'm listening.

Don't mind this; I'm opting for depth all day.

Pick up two guys like Warren, Jones, Batum, Young, Porter Jr etc and we have a 12 deep roster

THT's 21, and we just killed his development bringing in russ. reddish is a sub 33% shooter from three and a minus on both ends every year he's played. THT was at least a positive on defense his first two years.

nunn's a risk i guess, but he was good before he came here and missed a full year. burks was definitely the best of the bunch last year, but he's 31, so you don't know when that ends. given our luck, exactly the day he gets here.

Think Cam is better from the corner slots PER analytics, IIRC

Yeah. That would give us depth and some solid pieces.

I agree we’ve tanked THT’s value (we’re really good at that). But I’ll admit I’ve been fan of Reddish for a while going back to when he was in high school. So I’m biased there.

Fortunately I think the staff we are putting together will actually be able to develop young guys and we’d be able to get the best out of THT or Cam if we made a deal.

Nunn scares me long term with that injury. Im good with the team cutting its losses and bringing in someone else.

If we're slotting him or any other 4 at the position, they're going to get A-Type quality shot levels. If he gives us a solid C @ making them, that's a win especially from the corner.

That's for any future PF including AD. Now, if we're drafting a Julien Champaigne (spelling) who has skill that I believe will translate and can steal 10-15 minutes doing similar things, there's no need for Cam.

    Whatever they slot him at.

Heck, didn't we have Stanley play the 4 last year? I might even throw him as a small ball 5, lol

If he's better suited at SF, slot them there.

The bigger issue to me is getting size and athletes on the wing.

That's where we miss guys like Kuz, KCP, etc

Either way, don't really care as long as we fill this roster with depth.

    I don't want Kyrie.

Give me Rozier + 2 of the other 3. Not sure we get all 4 without ponying up the compensation. I'd still be fine with upping our offer for all 4, though.

There was another significant piece in that Fischer article pertaining to Russ options, teams who can help us dump salary and their plans this summer...

Regarding Kyrie, Anthony Irwin stated on his pod this morning he's heard the front office is split on their interest in Kyrie. Also that as of now, a deal seems unlikely.

Jonathan Givony has some rumors in his latest mock for ESPN Insider

The price for the 4th pick is steep
We need the Indy deal not to happen. The worst thing that can happen is another possible Russ team to fall off. OKC and Hou made moves that either pull them out of the running or make the deal less attractive. From strictly a leverage position, we need as many from the Indy, Charlotte, ORL, NY, Det pool to stay in the mix as possible.

Some of Indy's options this week
Knicks not expected to keep their pick

Draft night should be an interesting affair. I assumed with the free agent crop being pretty weak this year, a lot of trades will likely be going down this summer. We might get lucky, with the unexpected availability of a few options having been dumped, after some of the moves have been made. Kyrie and Beal grab all the headlines, but Jerami Grant and John Collins might get moved first IMO. I don't think we are in play for either of those two but you never know.
