    We've got new betting lines

Doc and Jackson are uncomfortably high on that. Still.

I'm pretty sure Doc is going to shoot up the betting lines now and especially when we interview him.

This is who we are interviewing and according to the "journalist"who just spoke to Jeanie, this is who we're waiting on?

Doc needs to go back to working for TNT/ESPN.

Doc Rivers... the only coach that could make me long for the days of Luke Walton, Byron Scott or Mike Brown.

Doc cried when Kobe died, maybe that's what makes Jeannie want him. Seriously can't come up with another explanation.

This. I will not watch that C bag and Clipper overrated coach on my team. Dude gives every excuse every time he loses, I can’t recall any blame taking. This is the guy defending blowing all those 3-1 leads and who discounted our 2010 title by saying we never beat their healthy starting 5, f*** him. If Jeanie hires him she loses me for good.

If she’s listening to Phil why on earth would HE be advising her to hire Rivers?? No way this is happening.

The idea of Doc is starting to make Mark Jackson actually sound appealing…

This is going to be a stressful few weeks/months. On paper, I like that we’re doing an extensive search including many lesser known assistants.

The naive part of me is hopeful that even just that strategy means we’re being a bit more level headed as an organization. That up against a larger pool of candidates, our decision makers will have to realize that Doc or Jackson aren’t the way to go.

But after Jeanie’s interview with Plaschke… I can’t bring myself to giving this team that benefit of the doubt.

Staging a larger search, but then passing up promising candidates just to go with the guy who carries the most name recognition amongst the casual fans and your star players, would unfortunately be SO on brand for this franchise right now.
