I’d definitely like to bring Melo back. I want him to have another chance.

Unpopular opinion but I wouldn’t mind bringing back AB for the minimum. With no more Vogel he’d be a bench guy as he should be instead of a starter.

Agreed. These guys for small roles make sense. I’m not as down on AB as many here. I just think at this stage in his career, he shouldn’t be expected to play even second string minutes.
The reason Frank played him so much is because he was among the small group of players that gave real defensive effort every night.

i think avery minus vogel is best. i get why vogel loved him, but we can have the positive avery impact without starting him and playing him 24 minutes.

melo's more complicated for me, actually, as he has to transition into dwight mode--meaning dnp-cd is common. can he do it? will lebron allow it? if so, love him. he was great, and his impact was hurt by us over using him, imo.

so, yeah: dwight/melo/bradley are your 12/13/14 men. gotta fill in ahead with younger guys.

Watching Warriors/Nuggets, and damn I would love to try to get Jordan Poole onto the Lakers.

Poole’s a restricted free agent, the only way we could get him is in a sign and trade for THT+Nunn, where Poole signs for $20 mil/season.

    Here’s dreaming lol.

He's an adopted Splash Brother. With the frequent injuries of Curry and Klay, he's huge for them. Don't see them letting him go.

Next summer I imagine they'll let Wiggins walk (or dump him next Feb) so they can pay Poole and Kuminga.

when Pelinka inevitably blows the roster next year who says no to this trade:

Poole + Wiggins for Lebron + filler + 1st round pick

this would allow for GSW to be favorites for the championship next year or two, while keeping the Lakers competitive for the foreseeable future.

Avery with a new coach? He won't get any time. Melo can't defend. Won't get much time.

Meh. Just sit their rear ends on the bench.

they're a smart organization. they'll move wiggins as soon as this summer, imo (while his value is at its highest-ever point) for future picks and some cap relief. everyone will gasp at first but then wiggins will go back to being wiggins and the warriors will barely notice he's gone, imo.

Wiggins for Westbrook, anyone? We desperately need a 3nD wing.

He’s a man who stands for what he thinks is right, refuses to drink the Kool Aide, and is a straight baller.

I couldn’t care less. He’s not a lemming who believes everything the controlled media feeds him.
I don’t care if you don’t like his beliefs. I’m not looking for an argument on this. If you disagree, and just want more smoke, you won’t get any.
