Grayson Allen is far better for their team. He spaces the floor for Giannis and doesn't need to pound the rock.

Seriously, I was looking at Hayward's contract about 6 weeks ago and wondering if CHA would do a deal with us.

It was one of the only contracts I seen that made any sense in any sort of possible WB transaction, and I was well aware of Hayward's injury at the time.

I'm torn about this because of Hayward and his history. But given we can get out of the WB business, I'm definitely listening.

One thing I will add: out of all the possible deals, I do like Mitch the most working with us and coming up with a framework that will work for all parties.

    We'll see...

Give me Rozier and Wood from Houston in a three way deal. To hell with Hayward, send him to Houston with a pick and Nunn or something.

I'm in complete alignment with you there.

    Complete.

That's why I'm torn about any possible Russ deal that brings back a mid 30s broken down vet...

Agh I keep forgetting about John Wall, I don't want him either. Maybe the Pacers would take Hayward and Nunn, for Turner and Warren plus a pick.

Doesn't matter man, Vogel isn't here anymore period. As I've said elsewhere a Westbrook team has made the playoffs a lot more times than the Lakers have over the last 10 seasons. If he's here, he's going to start and play a lot of minutes. If James and Davis are in top form, nobody around here is going to be obsessed with Russ if he's still on this team.

Naw, I think THT will be alright too. Worst case he's a Westbrook type of guy in model/theory at least. A lot is contingent upon if that shot develops. What I mean is that a championship-caliber team usually gets this kind of youth and developes them from within. I would think the Bucs would get someone with more experience if they were paying for them as opposed to bringing them up into the league themselves.

I would do it, if it means getting Rozier. He just turned 28, so he is still a relatively young solid NBA player. And he is durable.

Brook Lopez 34 years old and recently coming back from back surgery? Hell No!!! Go young if we are giving up Talen.

I’d like Turner for THT. But I just don’t think that’s gonna get it done, even with Myles Turner’s injury history. I don’t believe Wood is good enough defensively. So that leaves Brook Lopez as the most getable target that is decent defensively and can work offensively with AD. He expires next year anyway at 34 years old.

For me I’d just let Lopez, Westbrook and Lebron expire if we can’t make it work next season. That’s over a 100 million in cap space to pair with AD and hopefully our young platoon of Reaves, Monk, Stan and Nunn.

Better than a bunch of mediocre players we take on for Westbrook.

Rozier and Hayward would present an couple of interesting Lebron storylines. Terry is an Akron kid that grew up attending Lebron's camps. Gordon suffered that horrific career altering injury, by stepping on Lebron's foot. I believe that was his first game in Boston after signing that big free agent deal.

The Russ rumors are going to get hot soon..47 million dollars is a hell of a lot of cap space freed up after next season. I saw something about Russ for Turner and Levert today.

saw a Lakers publication on FB running with the rumor of Russ + 2 firsts for Hayward + Oubre

I want to get rid of WB but would not do that trade.

any trade with Charlotte would have to include Rozier and no picks imo.

Yeah, I would not give up picks. On the other hand, I would take almost any combination players for Russ at this point, that's how desperate I am.

Two thumbs down on that one. I'm really not inclined to be giving up a 1st rd pick either.
