lopez would probably have to be a three-team trade, but yes, it's interesting and totally possible (given age, etc., THT has more trade value than lopez on an open market, imo). honestly, i know everyone laughs at it, but marc gasol was the right center next to AD. we need to try to find another, but they aren't cheap and are pretty rare. would have loved to see prime aaron baynes next to AD, for example. any big that can operate outside the paint on offense and inside it on defense, basically.

i'm also skeptical on wood even though i think i raised his name. just seems like a guy who's not a winning player. but in theory...

I feel that the way the game is played today, you can only have one non-mobile power big on your roster (Dwight/Gasol) that you use when you play Jokic, Drummond, Embiid, KAT types. More than that and you’ll likely be wasting a roster spot. I’d rather stash another big bruiser type on a 2-way deal as injury insurance. I know I’m beating a dead horse but I think an athletic 4/5 big to play with AD is the way to go. What makes Milwaukee special is that they have Giannis/Portis who are interchangeable bigs with similar skillsets. Just a nightmare to defend. Especially in the playoffs.

Yeah right, every report after he quit said Magic got mad about Rob calling him out for his rock star working hours. That report was everywhere. Now, all of a sudden, the kick-'em-while-they're-down crew of execs who are disgruntled for not being hired here or were fired here have a totally different story the credibility of which is summed up in one sentence: "Magic knew what he was doing"

I feel like Bucks could covet a player like THT. They have great development and he would be w real nice addition to their Giannis, Middleton, Portis wing platoon.

Getting Lopez back would work well for what we are trying to do with AD and Lebron, offensively and defensively.

Like you I think Wood is a bit of a fools gold.

THT is far too immature as a player to play in Bucs squad for a few years. Scrub minutes only.

I don’t agree they were giving some 23 year old called Jordan Nwora 20 mins a game at SG/SF. They’ve also been giving Grayson Allen time. Don’t see how THT isn’t a far better option than both of those.

But you don't see how also bringing in THT isn't piling up more scrubs than they need? THT's line has not been consistent at all.

    I suppose I just don’t think of THT as a scrub. I don’t know…

What’s your master plan - you do a good job of sprinkling your comments and gifs around the place. But I’d love to hear what direction you want the organisation to head in. Full rebuild?

i think the idea is that THT is 21 and has room to grow. the bucks don't have any young talent on the roster.

people have complained about THT's contract, but it's really not very big, and whoever trades for him has his full bird rights, too. i don't think he's as useless an asset as the media would have you believe.

feel like that would be an overcorrection, which is our latest specialty. i agree that with lebron being old and AD being oft-injured, you want as many younger guys as possible around, but we will need some vets, too. like...maybe 4? if we could get a lopez to start and play 20mpg like gasol did a couple years ago, i think that would be good.

No thank you. Maybe Melo for one more year, thats it. Im tired of vets. Everyone that kicked the Lakers in the teeth night in and night out was young and could shoot.

Hayward is also out of the play-in tournament this week

The Lakers may have to take the Daryl Morey route and just sit Westbrook until the trade deadline and hope someone wants an expiring.
