I’m surprised it’s even that high. There are better things to do in LA/So-Cal, why would you pay to go see this team get beat by 20-30 points? I mean I guess maybe if you want to go see the stars on other teams that’s something, like Steph and Klay, Luka, etc.
Because schleps like to brag about what they do. Going to a Lakers game is a status thing, even for the every day peeps.

That punk derailed the Lakers and they have been battling ever since. They were able to salvage a title but it's been miserable before and after that.
the injury excuse is real, but health alone wasn't going to make this year's team a real contender. it was poorly constructed, period. we wasted lebron's last good year (half-good, his defensive dropoff was substantial, imo) with the russ experiment. might have killed the next one in the process, too, which could be nearing the end of AD's prime. the fact that the rambii are entrenched and that we operate like a small market financially means we'll be like this for a while. really wish we had better ownership.

The most random but logical thought popped into my head. so Jeanie constantly relies and trusts the opinion of old friends with basketball minds (Magic, Phil… Rambis) for basketball advice. Wouldnt it make a ton of sense that she goto the two younger Buss brothers (Joey and Jesse Buss)…. But the ones that run the gleague team and scouting department? They have been money on scouting so doesn’t it make sense to ask them for their opinions on roster and coaching decisions?
