He's not going to be playing any time soon. I understand, but I could be wrong, that response time can be weeks. If he can't start practicing for weeks, when will we be seeing him? Late mid-to-late November at the earliest?
The injuries are really starting early this season. With Young, Henry, and Nash out we've lost our depth at the wing positions.
Time to get serious here and drop Nash, X, etc as guys that can't stay healthy. Find some others instead.
That sucks. I like what X brings to the table for how much they are paying him. My only gripe is that this injury has taken some time away from his playing time. He seems reckless when he drives down the lane so he may be getting injured a lot in the future. Hopefully he comes back at full strength and plays most of the season without injury.
I like that guy, but this doesn't sound good for him at all. So young to have to consider this procedure.
Dam looks like the kid might have to go under the knife again (not talking about the procedure in Germany).
Too bad. The kid has a lot of talent, but if he can't get healthy then what good is it? I hope they can figure something out for him.
Damn right we will. I won't be surprised if he's out till the All Star Game... or even for an entire season.
I'd honestly just let him go. He's got skills, but he will ALWAYS be hurt. Give my boy Manny Harris another shot.
We have two backup SG's with Ellington and Clarkson, and Kelly can play SF and Randle can step in at SF as well.
This is where it would be great if the league had some kind of hazard pay / disability for injured players. Then the teams could cut them and find a healthy player. I guess there is kinda a provision, where a team can apply for a replacement for a long-term injured player. I just don't like teams having to pay the full amount for the gimp. Obviously I'm ranting about Nash, not X, who makes a minuscule amount.
