I thought it was the LeBron thread... but it seems the only one that's consistently open in my browser is the WMC thread. Tells you everything you need to know about this season.
We all were, for one game. The problem remains: we can’t expect nor rely on these performances to happen at a frequent rate.
Free throws, defense, coaching, awful refs, and still a winnable game we threw away. This one stings.
Don't let it bother you. We know where this season is headed. Getting upset about this game would be like watching Dane Cook and being disappointed you didn't laugh.
I'm disappointed there aren't more people in the "Winning Time" thread. I know this season has been an enormous bummer and that means less engagement, generally. But there's a friggin' HBO series about the Showtime Lakers on right now! And it's actually great! I thought this site would be all about it.
the thread is 3 pages long and there's only been one episode, so seems like there's definitely a good amount of interest in it from this board. i'm sure it'll increase as more episodes come out
Fair enough, but there's hardly been a page since the first episode aired, and it's like 5 guys total. Just expected more.
I finally got a chance to watch the first episode last night. I enjoyed it and will try to watch it live to participate a bit more.
i actually wasn't excited about the series, but the first episode was definitely fun. i love john c reilly. i'll be watching the rest and probably joining in the conversation instead of discussing bad AD trades.
Love it. I have a soft spot for the Morris twins since I went to KU, but Reggie Jackson just annoys me.
i put it in the wmc just because i'd like these two guys to show up to literally any of their games against the lakers. instead we get upfake, sidestep clutch threes and whatnot.
clippers need to find a way to put cardboard cutouts of russ in the stands at each game so reggie can play like MJ like he does against the lakers
Why do I let them sucker me in? I thought there’s no way we lose to the Rockets but noooooo. WTF was LeBron thinking passing up a wide open layup for the win? This team is burnt toast.
