Cool they played the last three and we lost all of them. Right now they don’t give two you know what’s. They are phoning it in.

We used to have friendly bets about these types of things. Something like a self deprecating sig or avy for a month. Just saying…

We are going to see, the games will be played and those two can't hide. I'm going take the optimistic route and say they will get it done. They have zero excuses if they don't IMO. NONE.

It may be semantics. I don't consider getting knocked out in a play in game making the playoffs. We need to be in an actual series.

i'd predict we finish 9th or 10th and lose the first play-in game because lebron and AD aren't interested in getting waxed by phx or gs in 5 games.

being out won't help his conditioning/weight, either, which is a major problem.

here's a hypothetical: would you trade or trade for zion right now?

if i'm NO, i'm quietly putting out feelers. yes, he might recover and be a superstar, but he also might barely play and be up for a huge contract extension.

if you're a bad team, do you offer a solid vet (think harrison barnes type) and a 1st? does NO say no?

He’s going to be the weight of Shaq if he keeps this up.

A lot of potential being wasted. He should hire a nutritionist and a trainer, and start taking his career seriously. Youth only last so long.

his inability to do any sort of cardio is no doubt the main catalyst behind is weight gain. and the weight gain will probably slow down his recovery process even more as he'll have to put in the extra work to shed the weight

if NO was on the verge of contending then i'd understand trying to deal him. but they're not, so i think they are better off just holding on to him for now and hoping he can return for next season

Cookie, he already weighs as much as Shaq did when he won the 1st championship.

He may wind up being Greg Oden 2.0 sadly if can’t get the feet and weight right.

Has the ink dried yet? If he waited another 13 hours he could come here and be our starting center for a solid stretch of what's left of this awful season.

Feels kinda weird to me that Rick Carlisle broke this news. Is that even allowed when Thompson hasn’t even been official waived and cleared waivers yet?

I think there actually might be a chance Thompson hasn’t officially decided yet, or even if he had settled on picking Chicago, us now having a glaring need at center might change his mind.

Vogel wouldn't play Tristan Thompson more than a handful of minutes.
