Now that's interesting. Our interest in DS and Dragic means Nunn is done and/ or we're thinking about shutting Russ down.

I’m not getting my hopes up, as in my hopes are passed out on the couch and they won’t be getting up for anything except a pizza delivery. But adding players like Dragic, Harris, and Bembry, while waving Baze, DJ, and Ellington, could legitimately turn our season around, in that we could make the playoffs and possibly win a series. I don’t see any moves salvaging a championship, but getting a real PG to cut Russ’ minutes down, a real SG in Harris that could send Bradley to the bench for good, and another (although smaller for sure), wing in Bembry fills major needs. Those moves would get rid of 3 guys giving us absolutely nothing, and let us have a serious bench. Any one of these moves doesn’t move the needle though, it’s a drop in the bucket, it would have to be at least 2 or them to do anything. I highly, highly doubt these players want to join a team that looks as bad as ours right now though.

Our two biggest selling points: starting spot and exposure. If you're not a big, you'll probably get a starting spot and we have a slew of national TV games. We may play like s*** the rest of the way, but player X can showcase themselves into a nice deal elsewhere this summer. That should mean nab us 1 quality guy out there if one comes available and if Rob is willing to pay to come off the contract of Baze or DJ. Hoping for multiple additions, but as far as a higher impact player like Harris, that has to be our pitch.

Kyrie has lots of things, I don't think a mind is one.

I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't land one buyout option.

We could sign anyone but if AD keeps playing like he is invisible, none of it will matter.

Cut Baze and sign Bembry or PJ Dozier.

We can’t offer Dragic a starting spot though, and if we offer Harris one what does that do to Monk? Does that hurt our chances of re-signing him? It’s tricky, we’ve saddled ourselves to a player in Westbrook that can’t be benched without huge repercussions.

Wish we had open roster spots. Why would Dragic sign with a non play off team?

Yeah, there's zero chance he'd come here. Luka is his good friend, he'll go to the Mavs to help him make some noise in the playoffs.

Dallas got Dindwiddie and have Brunson outside of Luka. Drago doesn't make much sense to them at this point

yeah, it's weird. they've been rumored after dragic since the summer, but then they trade for dinwiddie. plus, they've said they really want to keep theo pinson around as 15th man. they can't really affordo to cut boban, for on and off court reasons, so their options are limited.

i imagine dragic wants to go somewhere with a slightly bigger available role. utah could probably use a guy to eat up some backup pg minutes and start when conley inevitably gets hurt.

Dragic would be great if it happens. I like him much more than the dumkopf.

if dragic does come, we'll get to see a bit of what nunn was supposed to look like. their athletic profiles are different, but both are score-first guards who can shoot and playmake a little. we've definitely missed that. imagine having someone with that skillset in either of the last two games down the stretch. our opponents did.
