Rob needs to trade for John Wall whatever it takes

 

It took until NOW to realize things aren’t working?

I’m actually nervous about a dumb trade to try and savage this season now.

No need to make moves for this season which would jeopardize the future , Lakers will finish 9th given the SOS remaining ( could be worse if Portland just had not traded CJ/Lillard was heathy).

We'll probably lose against the Wolves/Clippers in the game for the 8th spot

But this is what Lebron does , he joins your team , he wins a title then he makes bad moves which leave your team in a bad state mid term ... and he leaves

i think dinwiddie is like gordon. he's a bit younger and can handle the ball as a pg (which might mean we're ready to move russ), but similar injury/contract issues.

 

Yeah. My comment was mainly a joke. I do like Dimwiddie but there are issues there.

Thing is you hit the nail on the head about 1/3 of the roster. We lack NBA caliber players right now. I could see us doing something like this.

 

funny thing is that if we could have moved THT for dinwiddie last summer, i probably would have done it. but dinwiddie's been almost as bad as THT at double the price, so what do i know?

I'd hope Spencer's issues were a bad fit between him and Beal, but that's valid.

I'd do that Pacers deal.

 

Biggest difference to me is Spencer is a win now move. He's in his prime years and as long as he hasn't lost anything from his injury last year, he would be a big upgrade over THT. He's shown he can average 20+ on the season on a playoff team.

Not sure it's the right move (doesn't address big wings... maybe that's the buyout move) , but it makes us better. Dinwiddie hasn't fit in well in DC. I think they lack a voice on that team. Beal seems to be a lead by example star. I'm sure our guys are chiming in with their championship experience. And when you're losing as much as they are without a leader or one voice, it can get ugly.

 

I'm going to laugh when we end up with John Wall and Hield

 

I really don't want Buddy. Monk and Melo have that role covered. If Rob can't let it go though, at least we didn't ruin Indy's plans over the summer, so they might not try to F us in a deal. Since Craig, Warren, and Brogdon are all available maybe we could get more out of them.

 

Just punt the damn season.

Better find a big man Vogel is willing to play. Another guard or wing isn't going to improve anything.
