Not having Caruso is just a kick in the nuts: how many games would this have won with him because I guarantee you he would have been up to the task of guarding guys like young and morant. (same goes for KCP but losing Caruso on top of the Westbrook just compounded the errors)

We don't like spacing or advanced stats, though.

    You know...

What does plus or minus have to do with anything. These Twitter analysts are annoying, there is a reason they’re posting on Twitter and not working for organisations.

i tire of the twitter experts, too, but it is weird that bradley's held the starting role over reaves, imo. we sort of try everything--except going larger in the backcourt with a smaller frontcourt.

Love your analysis even if I disagree.

And the truth? The Twitter experts are far better then some of the junk analysis they we've been getting on this forum lately.

the twitter experts are just like forum jockeys, though--they care more about their narrative than what's happening, imo.

it's highlighted even more there because they're deliberately trying to gain a following, so things that don't fit their narrative are real threats.

just not sold on vogel costing us 8 wins or lue being some sort of savant.

    Depends on who you referencing.

Pete and Darius are great. Pete is actually employer by the Lakers.

    Cranjis is good.

    Unwritten is excellent.

    Etc.

There's about 5-6 I reference I like that have been pretty consistent over the years.

pete and darius have generally been good. cranjis is mostly good, but gets committed to his takes, imo.

i just know that vogel isn't worth -8 wins this year. that's sort of an insane claim.

It’s just such a silly thing to keep harping on in my opinion. Vogel played AB 20 minutes last night and he made all his shots. He favored Reaves, playing him 25 minutes and he closed out the game which I like him doing. Personally I think closing the game is more important. Unfortunately Reggie Jackson did take him to the hole a couple times down the stretch to win the game. But it’s a regular season event and it’s good that Reaves is getting the experience. He’s hit a game winner himself this year.

I love the kid but he and AB have been splitting minutes for much of the year. I’m not seeing any issue or why we are pitting them against one another here. Maybe Nunn comes back and they start him? Most games start out well for us. Generally we are losing games with lackluster second halves.

Are you guys really saying that benching AB would have given us 8-10 more wins? He is the factor for us having a losing record? He is actively causing us to lose all these games? I think that’s just nuts. Especially when you don’t give him any credit when he helps win games. 4 steals against Portland somehow does not count?

This guy is a vet min player just playing to his best ability every night.

Depends. But I don't want to be like others.

    Let's stick to Bradley.

yes and no: the real issue is that he shouldn't be starting because if you start for Vogel you are going to get 20 minutes minimum period. Second is really not his fault but Vogel keeps playing him with Monk and Russ. That is just a brutal lineup. That did cost the Lakers game as both in the 1st quarter and 3rd quarter: Clippers picked apart that midget lineup with simple actions. None of these 3 guys can closeout or contest a forward in the paint.

Bradley IMO is a 20 minute a game guy but he shouldn't start and don't play him with 2 other mouse in the house guys

Well...Frank deserves the right to go out on his shield. He's chosen to stick with Avery, if that's his decision, so be it IMO.
