You sure? Because I'd swear Wiggins was traded for Love late August last year.

EDIT: found a article on it

So the #2 pick can be traded until we officially sign, then untradable for 30 days, then tradable again until the trade deadline (allstar break)

I'll have to check. Wiggins might not have signed yet.

Found it. He signed his deal late July and it is one month before he could be moved.

I remembered they were selling Wiggins Cavs jerseys and then it got pulled. He was going to wear #21. They wouldn't put that specific info up without him being under contract.

I read an interesting theory: WE are the ones throwing out these criticisms of Okafor/trade rumors with Cousins/rumors that Okafor will slip in the draft.

Why? Because we know Minnesota will take KAT, we know we will take Okafor, and we know he's the kind of player who will use these kind of things as motivation to tear it up in his rookie year.

Once he is signed, from what I remember, it's 3 months from the date he is signed, or Dec/Jan 15, whichever is later.

Just got a notification from ESPN saying Chad Ford says that we are 80/20 in favor of taking Okafor right now.

Wasn't there a rumor that we really started pushing the idea of Randle and his bad foot? I mean it turned to be out true, but we got our guy...

We're settling in on Okafor. The segment I watched was with Legler and Michael Eaves. Michael Eaves spent a little time with Jerry West and West called Russell the best player in the draft. Okafor is a safe pick, though. A higher floor and upside. So, we'll see. We better make sure, though. If you're drafting a big like this in today's age, his post game better be transcendent.

There should be a dislike option. You would have received one. ;)

Agreed. I think Okafor will be a good and maybe even great player for us at some point. But I can't pretend I don't understand what the critics or saying or that I don't get why some people think Towns and/or Russell are better prospects.

I think it would be crazy to just dismiss any valid criticisms of any of the top guys.

    1. Okafor - My pick. If there was any time to be bad and have a lottery pick, it would be this year FOR THIS GUY. I am a fan of old school basketball and the post game. I loved watching Hakeem, Cap, Shaq, and shades of Duncan. And to know that he will starting out as a Laker and developing his career through us, someone to call our own and not someone we bought or traded for, is priceless. We had that with Kobe, and it's like family.

    2. Towns - The talent and upside here is too much to pass up. A new style big with an all around game works for today's up and down pace, but still adds the level of size and versatility to provide a certain advantage on the court. I don't think we pass it up if he's there at 2.

    3. Russell - The way he has been talked about and how his stock moved up has intrigued me despite not really impressing me much during the collegiate season and tournament. The skills are there though, and I see some of the Curry comparisons with his game. Excellent handles, a timely shot release, and uncanny poise and confidence. If we pick him, than it will be because Mitch, Jesse, Ryan, put in all the work to analyze this guy and know that he'd be the one for us and I would support that, though, I would be disappointed if Okafor was still on the board.

    4. Porzingis - Nope.

Understood, man. I'll be honest; I'm much more excited about Randle than Okafor. I also have some concerns about the 'fit' together.

C Bags shopping Smart (thanks for not drafting Julius BTW, d******es ).
As for Okafor/Russell. If we get a "yes" from either Chandler or Jordan, im ok with us picking up the little guy ;). Defensive minded C next to Randle would be sweet.
