I'm dreading giving up THT now: he's progressing really nicely both on offense and defense. He's a player as predicted has done much better without having to play with Westbrick.

This is the move I want and Houston would be incentivized to do it just to save the cash
Gordon can shoot and defend and Wall can't be worse then Westbrook

Wall/Gordon/THT/Monk/Johnson/Reaves/Melo/Dwight/Lebron/AD: that's your 10 man rotation right there and you fix holes like shooting along the way and team chemistry

i don't know what's going on in the locker room. When you bring in this many new players, besides team chemistry among the players, you have to develop some trust and chemistry with the players as a staff too. This effort stuff leads back to the coaching staff IMO. It's the first indication of players tuning out the coaching staff.

I don’t think Westbrook ever actually tuned in.

I feel like Monk, Melo, AB, Reaves, Johnson and even THT did and continue too. Dwight has but he gets no burn due to small ball. Ariza is trying he’s just old and not recovered fully yet.

DJ never tuned in. Baze is just bad.

I would do that in a heartbeat …

But holy crap that’s hilarious, in that proposed trade they are replacing Wall (who hasn’t played a minute for them) with Westbrook, and that gives THEM -14 projected wins

Wall is about shot and 3 years of Gordon at that salary is a no winner either.

Looks like Lebron and AD tuned out. That is more serious. If your leaders aren't getting after guy's a**** about effort, then maybe they aren't opposed to a coaching change. Everything can't be blamed on Westbrook, they simply quit too frequently as a team, in some of these games. I've never seen Lebron this quiet on his team's struggles. I don't know what happened here but something is amiss, he's more supportive of Russ than Frank IMO.

I’m not sure about tuning out Vogel. AD was half assing a bit on offense but he played D. He’s just been out for so long we can’t even remember what’s it like having him any more, lol. Lebron is his own coach and pretty much always has been.

Kinda true on Lebron..he kind of follows his own script a lot. Yet he usually snaps after things start going to the left.AD had started to complain about logging soo many minutes at 5 before he went out. Anthony is more of a passive aggressive type, he's called out his teammates a little bit, but he hasn't been very committal about the coaching staff either. Winning cures all ills though, If they really want to fight for Frank's job, we are about to find out.

According to Cowherd, chemistry with Russ in the locker room is not good. On the other hand, Melo is extremely well liked amongst the players.

For me, they’ve “tuned out” the fundamentals of boxing out and preventing easy layups and dunks.

If a coach needs to yell at you, as a seasoned veteran, to do the fundamentals, you are a chode.

I seriously doubt LeBron's dong shots from the logo are part of the offense.

It's also not part of the offense to miss layups by the dozens, per game. Not contested layups, freakin layups where it's you and the rim and still miss.

This team is fundamentally flawed. That's the apex of it's issues. This is still a sport where knowing angles and passing lanes helps generate good basketball plays.

Melo playing a lot at 5 is part of the problem. Liked or not. That should be Dwight down there.

Doesn't have anything to do with watching a dude roasting you for 24 points in the 4th quarter, without any adjustments being made, that is a coaching problem.

I have to agree with Barkley..even though I hate it. If you sit Westbrook out for the last 4 minutes, and you still lose. You can't blame that on Westbrook.

you gave up the lead with westbrook on the floor and couldn't recover. imagine what you could do if you were empowered to never have him the floor. say you could replace him with four competent 25mpg role players. oh...you win a ring? ya don't say?

What ring did we win like that? We aren't going to win anything without Westbrook, because Westbrook is simply not getting moved. If Frank can't figure it out, somebody else will. Again what did Westbrook have to do with Levert's Kobe impression in the 4th quarter?

That has nothing to do with team chemistry. However, I agree that this small ball garbage for the majority of the time is not a winning formula.
