and...i'm out on turner. big men with foot issues scare me quite a bit.

also out on grant if he wants to be a primary offensive option. he's bad at that, and i figured his time in detroit would have shown him so? hard to imagine the team that's looking at him in trade being like: we need him as a primary offensive option.

so it's trent or bust from the rumor mill right now. still plenty of time to go...

I actually think Grant and Turner both having injuries helps us. As long as they get cleared, it should take at least a team or two out of the running

hmmm...i feel like it narrows our options and increases competition for other potential targets. as i sad in the previous posts, turner's now got trending foot issues and grant still wants to be a big dog offensive option. honestly, i hope other teams chase them and we make a surprising move that's better for us.

    I am bored.

Obviously Indiana needs more than this, so we gotta throw some picks.

No idea why Sacramento would do it either.

    I. Am. Bored.

    Ben Simmons
    Buddy Hield

With Turner off the table, it would seem that the demand would go up for a shot blocking center, such as Dwight Howard. Toronto is in desperate need of some rim protection.

Toronto is #15 in blocks and #15 in rebounding. Miami is #30 in blocks and #16 in rebounding. Dwight could help both of those teams.

i wonder if turner's injury isn't as bad as they're making it seem and indy just wants to sit him until the deadline as to not risk injury

Turner for Trent would of been perfect for both teams.

Gosh I wish people would let the buddy hield thing just die. We already have a like for like replacement in Monk. Hield would be absolutely abused on defence.

Just think about it this way, you are giving up THT, Nunn, Reaves, Westbrook and Bazemore for Simmons, Hield and Turner. In no universe is that fair value out vs in. And it’s reflected in the fact that Sacramento and Pacers get nothing in return.

This is actually encouraging. Woj has been locked out for awhile. If he's not hearing anything, then that means other teams aren't using us to drive up the price... at least in their convos with him.

yeah, i liked the russ deal more than the hield deal. neither is what i wanted, but hield would have been worse. monk is basically as good for less than 1/10th the cost. it's insane.

sac's supposedly giving up fox for westbrook. indiana's giving up levert and turner for THT and reaves.

    i...don't know how to respond.

or he's locked out but using logic. we have very little to offer, and any move we make is likely to be lateral or worse. let's just sit this one out, unless we're just dumping deandre and baze to help facilitate someone else's trade or something.

Smh..I mean seriously folks, Russ was never getting dealt once we traded for him. The idea doesn't make any sense, the man forced a trade here after Washington declined that trade offer twice. He has an opt out next season, and he doesn't have to play ball one bit,if he doesn't want to be traded. This Russ trade stuff is just crazy fan talk.

We didn't have many options period before the trade. Nobody wanted Kuz and KCP for anything of value. Hell Washington didn't want Trez, Kuz and Kcp initially. I just don't understand, why some of you guys think we had all this trade capital in the first place. That Buddy Heild deal should have opened your eyes. They wanted Kuz, Trez and a 1st rd pick for that dude.

i don't get why people still bring up hield as if they would've been any better with him instead of russ

this team already has enough 3 pt shooters who can't play D

Because if we did the trade for Hield, we likely don’t penny pinch Caruso off the team. And we’re a significantly better team with Hield, Caruso, and KCP over Westbrook.
