Coaching staff is just clueless at times. Melo just shouldn’t play the 5. The one positive is that any talk of Fizdale taking over should be dead
This is why I wanted to add a Markief Morris with one of the last roster spots during the offseason. We were already light on forwards/centers and now Melo is one of the few “big” guys we have left. In no way should he be playing center. He’s had to play a lot more mins than expected so far this season, hope he can stay healthy.
Pulling for him to pass Shaq for #8 on the all time scoring list. He has to average 16 a game rest of the way
One of his best road games this year Big corner 3 late. I really enjoy his subtle strip blocks he's been getting almost each game. It's knowing your limitations and still trying to find a way when you're pretty limited on that side of the floor.
Him at Center is a mistake and should not happen again period. That lineup is costing the Lakers game and this is a pure coaching issue. The Lakers have a good big man in Dwight who should be playing
Agreed, but if we are going to go with that fatal lineup choice YOU must surround him with the other biggest non Bron, non centers on your roster. Instead I think Fiz had Russ, Collison, and Bradley (?) in there with him at one point. Also I don't know why we played Melo that much. He's shown you can't lean on him THAT much on second nights of back to backs. Maybe we'll learn that eventually.

Yeah, his defense seems to be improving somehow. This is the best season in his career in terms of blocked shots.
