mitchell and conley both missed a lot for utah, which sucked for them. then again, they still lost for the same reason they always do: against some teams, you simply can't play rudy gobert.

Man.. Guys being out in protocol is one thing, but the Spurs are like a G-League team as it is, how do you give up 138 points? As we were talking about in game time, this is bad roster construction, and I think they did the best they could with minimum contracts, but if we hadn’t traded for Russ we wouldn’t have had to go that route. Pay 44 mil for Russ, but cheap out on a guy like Caruso, and that’s costing us now. With as difficult as our schedule is going forward, we are in danger of not even being a playoff team, so yeah it sucks saying during games “this game is over”, but bigger picture we’re close to genuinely saying “this season is over”.
