Magic Johnson has zero, zip, nada influence on what money is or is not spent on which players for the Dodgers with his 2.3% share of ownership. I am not a fan of his ever since he did what he did with the Lakers, but that's just another bad take in a growing repertoire of them you have going.
Dude Ervin was on tv after that trade praising the trade and keeps sayin we we we , we made this move because Adrian is a great player … All magic does is make popularity moves , he is a great GM if you wanna fill seats and sell tix . No denying that .
You should go on dodgers site and see how everyone was criticizing this move …. You don’t wanna believe Ervin had anything to do with it ( even though his hand print is all over it ) that’s your decision.
You're right .... of course Magic Johnson has been pulling the strings and phantom GMing the Dodgers all these years since new ownership saved us from the dumpster fire that was the McCourts. Well at least he got us to a couple World Series with one win and possibly would have been 2 had not Houston been a bunch of cheaters.

I am not big on the Suns (or most teams to be honest). I agree they’ve been fortunate with injuries. I just don’t see us doing much. We’ve got a punchers chance but a lot has to go right. AD’s supposed to be out around 4 weeks so I take the over on that one and expect him to be out from 6 to 8 weeks given how slowly our guys tend to return from injuries. For this team to then develop the chemistry it would take to make a run just seems really doubtful to me. They’ve shown nothing on the court to make me think they are contenders.
my first sentence was that i agreed we're not going to win it. i've seen enough and am calling it. we won't get everything together, and we weren't the favorite even if we did. that said, don't be surprised if this is a year that a rando like utah gets it after everyone slobbered all over phx all season.
Booker was out last playoffs, right? If I’m not mis-remembering he’s a hell of a player to add to that squad and McGee is Big too for depth in the front court.
