With all the injuries who else was going to step up? I'll admit his FG% was well...let's just say he's playing back into game shape. You know, testing his limits. If everyone on the team is going to have a horrible shooting night, why not let Kobe shoot all he wants? What else was he going to do, run up and down the court only? I believe Scott makes him do that in practice almost everyday. It's still pre-season, just kick back and enjoy his last years.

No need to cry, in case you missed it we have two of the most athletic playazzz from this year's draft in Randle and Clarkson, they can have more impact on the game than Kobe in no time

ON Kobe's performance that I was referring to.... I personally loved it!!!!! I like Kobe flipping off the world who says he can't do this anymore, and then nearly shooting 50% when the defense has no one to focus on but him. For being out so long, I think he's doing fine. And like others have said, who exactly is there to pass to right now? It might be a long season, but if I get to watch the artist STILL known as Kobe Bryant, it will be a good year. and why can't I like my own post dammit!

Still can't get Kobe "Shots" Too Much back in the title? Really?? When did PC and Spellcheck become important on a Lakers forum, with some of the other inane thread titles put up? As it reads now it is like some valid thread already started this year.....( )....... when it honestly was intended as a joke and nod to some of the past, silly and funny history we have enjoyed. Kobe better "shot" too much this year as the remaining healthy players on the squad at any one point in time this coming season will likely be seriously lacking in that area.
I don't think it was a PC thing. This place is new. I'm not sure people that saw the title change and wanted to change it back even knew how to do it since it's not done the same as on CL. I changed the title back

That's the deal he really worked out w byron... Reduced minutes maybe but balls out offense when he's on the floor. Can't say I mind that at this point.
