^^^ Stein & Winslow are the 2 guys I think may be the biggest steals in the draft.

Agree with Stein. I like Winslow, but I'm not so sure on him.

Winslow reminds me of a Jimmy Butler / Andre Igouldala type of guy.
I think he'll be one of those guys that will need the right situation, but he's a gamer...

He reminds me of Tony Allen defensively more than Igouldala. Defensive, I think he'll be fine. Offensively, I'm just not sold on his jump shot.

Kobe says hello [IMG] and fed the "MDE" (for 3 titles). What he knows, piece of cake .....he teaches to the other guards and wings / closest players we have to snipers. I'm imagining Okafor can reach out and grab even bad passes with one freaking hand. Not talking Kwaaamee hands of stone Brown here.

Do you think Kobe plays more than 40 games next year? I'm dubious.

I think Kobe will be around 30 to 35 minutes a game.

We will be fine with Okafor.

But I think the question marks on him are legitimate even if some are being overblown. Towns is the better shooter especially from the free throw line and defender at this point and that's why teams moved him over Okafor. I will try to find it later but Coach K did make mention of Okafor needing to step up his work ethic a bit in an interview he did several months back with Colin Cowherd. That along with his conditioning issues is likely why those scouts mentioned that about Okafor.

If there are no major injuries, yeah. He'll have his minutes reduced and skip b2b games. Maybe take few other games off etc.

Over/under: 1500 minutes. Let's hear the wagers. This is Kobe btw.

I think both have great bust potential, but between the two Stein will look like the steal in the draft.

    ~30 mpg x ~60 games = ~1800 total minutes.

Over. But essentially it all comes down to how Bryon manages his minutes. Ideally, I'd like him in a 25 minute per game average, with a 15-20 minute per game average on the 2nd of back to backs. Then, if things were to break our way and we snuck into the playoffs, bump his minutes up considerably. The reason I wouldn't sit him entirely in back to backs is that if this is his last year, I wouldn't want to deprive road fans who came to see him for the last time, as I'm sure he wouldn't want to either. Plus, playing him on these nights ensures he at least shows up on our bench, providing another good voice of wisdom for our younger players.

That's a great point... The only reason to sit Kobe on those back-to-backs completely is if we're competing for a playoff spot.

I think both are too good defensively to be flat out busts. Willie Trill has Tyson Chandler written all over him.

Winslow is definitely a gamer. He plays with a lot of energy On both ends and Just flat out brings it pretty much anytime he hits the floor. Duke doesn't have their championship without him. He has work to do with his jumper but I think he will be a solid player in time.

I'm of the belief that Kobe could still play 35 minutes a game without getting hurt. I think it has more to do with how much of a load we're putting on him vs the minutes he's out on the floor. I understand the concern with how the last 2 seasons played out, but the 2014 knee injury was a result of him coming back too soon (whether Kobe admits it or not) and the 2015 shoulder injury was inflicted prior to the regular season. In other words, only the 2013 archiles rupture could be a direct result of excessive playing time. We're acting like he's the most fragile player ever.

I mean Jordan averaged 35-37 minutes at ages 38 and 39. Just saying...
