This just in.. We're not very good.
Too slow on Defense.. No system on Offense.

When you have all world talent like Westbrook, Lebron and AD on your roster you should have a winning record. From mismanagement, poor coaching and poor play, all of them and responsible for this hot mess

NO. Not with the undersized poor defensive roster available during the injury and other unavailabilities of important portions of that roster while one of those superstars is still figuring out how best to play. The three stars don’t guarantee anything yet without the third finding that groove which he seems to be doing and getting back the rest of our most important role players, now including Austin Reaves.

This team just isn’t fun to watch. They’re too small, and play with no effort or energy.

I don’t always buy the lack of effort and energy. Sometimes sure OK. But sometimes these not even the best of our mostly minimum vet role players (the better ones out with injuries) ….. simply are overmatched. Not as good as the players they’re matched against and yes too small. Time to give Chandee Brown some run as well I think. Decent size and NBA body and can shoot some and not without skills. Young strong legs. Same with with Stanley Johnson. Give Frank a chance with the defensive end first off. If he’s going to be in peril he should just say f*** the politics and play them maybe over the vets that suck on D. See ya Baze and Ellington.

Pretty good analysis from Shaq, Kenny and Crawford. Jamal Crawford hit it right on point, this team has no identity

the 3 stars together being so bad is quite alarming.

that AD and russ are bad without lebron is perplexing, too, as it was a big part of why we did this thing. and lebron and russ without AD is even worse!

we need to figure out the first two, though, more than the third one. if the big three can't play together, this is dumb and will fail pretty hard. and if russ and AD can't be at least even without lebron, we won't go anywhere in the playoffs.

The big three have only played half of our games together so far. Let’s give it some time.

They have no Identity &, as we've learned over the last 2 seasons, a Coach that is not very good at establishing rotations.
Sure, the injuries are part of it, but Vogel seems to be a "let's tinker with it until we find something that works" kinda guy.
Not sure he's capable of coaching us out of this mess. The Players are gonna have to figure this one out for themselves.

yeah that's bad. and every single W they've gotten so far this season has been a close game with the exception of the cleveland game. they're barely beating the worst teams

The identity issue is huge and injuries have not helped it.

I wish these guys took preseason seriously. For a team with so many new pieces they should have played the first half of every preseason game with full rotations. At that time we were only missing Ariza, we could have built something. Instead we’re using the regular season as a preseason but with so many injuries.

In my opinion this points out how little our star players have played together. We’ve only had 127 minutes of them together. That’s the equivalent of roughly 6 games - give or take.

irving's a deadeye shooter both off the dribble and as a spot up. just very different players. it's why i was interested in kemba walker as a potential buyout pickup, but he looked pretty cooked last night.

Okay, so you have Russ push the pace every time they get a rebound. Who’s fast enough to run with him? Most of these guys are too slow to keep up with LeBron when he pushes it, let alone Russ.
