inconsistent. cares too much about podcasts. trade him.

seriously, though, you can't rely on a 37 year old to shoot 70% from three for you to beat bad teams at home.

He had 15/5 today, shot well, was 66% for 3, 71.4% overall. Starting him when Bron is out maybe isn't a bad idea?

Melo nailed the Big three when we needed it.

We are defensively and offensively compromise with DJ, anyway, so Melo starting when Lebron is out is a must.

There is a reason why guys like DJ or Dwight don't get playing time on other teams...

Melo looked good on offense. Had some major lapses on D but thats to be expected. He wasn't brought in to lock down wing players lol.

Good temporary fit in the starting lineup.

Huge late 3 to push the game out of reach.

I want Bron back soon, because Melo will overheat at this rate. He played 30 last night, he'll probably have to play a lot tonight unless the Bulls put us away early.

After Russ and AD, he played a big part in that 4th Q push. Couple big 3s. Couple stops defensively.

I'm just glad to see Road Melo show up. Shooting was solid in the C Bags game (13 points. 3-4 from 3). Then tonight 18 points on 5-8 from 3.

Really good game by Melo again. He's one of the bright spots and helped us close the gap in the 4th.

Is it a good thing that we only win when Melo has a good game

We win when we have players contribute. Monk has done it, Reaves has done it etc.

Melo just has more in the tank than many of us thought, so he has been contributing more often.

Melo was ready to stop Stewart if he tried to circle back around after he sprinted through the tunnel

he needed to pass the ball a bit more. he was hesitating on the catch and then firing up bad contested shots.

Not a good game from Melo. The crowd ovation for him was cool though.

not a good game or a good streak for him but again hes regulated to shooting.

It'll be dope if we can make some plays Off a hot 3pt streak, instead of just religiously shooting the 3 no matter what.

I did like those couple times he drove into the paint, definitely can see the rust when he did though.

This might be a stretch (considering the bad streak), but what if melo just gets the green light on stretches on offense with the bench in a sort of ginobili/6th man role.

It seems like whenever Westbrook, AD, Melo are on the floor they look like headless chickens sometimes just passing around the ball and running the clock to take a bad shot.

Since he's scored more there than anyone in the league, I was hoping he was going to be able to pull a vintage MSG game out of the bag. Unfortunately it went the other way.

why do our former players seem to show up against us, but our players don't show up against their former teams?

He shot 31 percent from three on this road trip.

Outside of the Detroit game, he wasn't great.

However, he's been playing a lot lately, and he's been a great minimum signing so far.
