That's a terrible line when you read it a few times. Why weren't they playing hard from the beginning?

    Missed this game.

I'm not going to lose interest completely, but the reality is the team just isn't very good right now.

I have more important things to do than watch a team come out flat @ the start of games, not play defense, etc.

This just isn't enjoyable to me to watch right now.

Full game of effort. Sounds so basic but we aren’t doing it.

you just can’t keep spotting teams huge leads and expect to win.

the listless play from pretty much everyone to start games is inexcusable. you've had AD, lebron, and now russ basically state it's just a matter of effort. and that's pretty messed up.

As an old guy still playing ball I'll only give Lebron a pass here. Some days its just takes awhile for everything to loosen up lol

funny enough, i feel like those two are largely doing their jobs. AD and russ didn't set a tone to start, imo. the knicks were hot, but we should have been able to keep it closer. i don't know. i guess it is what it is at this point. these guys don't seem to want it. and they sort of know they don't want it. and they don't know how to want it again.

and no, that's not vogel's fault. he's not a freaking life coach.

here's a random wmc: we lost largely on the strength of three back-breaking threes from quickley--and man is his stroke ugly! i can see why he slipped in the draft a bit. if i saw that on film, i'd have run. but they went in, and we lost.

When you put 3 non-shooters next to Westbrook/AD in the starting lineup...that 1st quarter is the result. We only made it close when Bradley had the game of his life from 3...I don't expect him to be knocking those down consistently or be taking that many 3's consistently.

You cannot ignore that Vogel's lineups and rotations have been pretty inconsistent not to mention horrendous. Yes the roster isn't amazing...but there's better ways to utilize it and the current way has produced piss poor results....gotta change it up. Bradley and DJ are barely NBA rotation players at this point..and yet they're starting and are horrible at what they're SUPPOSED to be good at (DEFENSE) and they don't bring much else to the table.

Just wanted to point out Bradley was 3/8 from three. Not sure if that’s a game of his life or huge volume for a SG that got 30 mins…

This team pisses me off. They showed they can actually play good rotating defense! They did it in the third. This means they were taught how to- they just choose, for whatever stupid reason, to not give full effort on that end of the floor for 48 minutes. I told you guys it’s not the coaching staff. They did their job- they showed these guys how to play defense together. It’s up to them to do it every single minute of every game.

Why do you want Bradley out. Did you even watch this game? What is this nonsense about hating on our only defensive guard and the only one who could knock down a decent percentage of shots tonight. He had 15 points! Maybe you mean THT who somehow put up another Ofer. O for 8 actually. He’s the guy who needs to get it together.

Russ can call out folks for not trying hard. He's almost the only guy who is trying on a consistent basis!
