They can bash Okafor all they want, if it helps us get him in the purple and gold I'm all for it.

hey, if towns refuses to work out for the lakers, all the easier to support okafor as he demonstrates why he was the consensus #1 until calculators got involved.

Exactly. Just start supporting Okafor. If I told you or anybody else, we'd have a chance to pick up Okafor at the end of the season, we'd be jumping for joy. Sucks to have to go through the season, but unfortunately in the NBA system, you need to be really bad to make any substantial progress or you're wallowing in mediocrity.

Trade it to the Clippers for a first rounder in 3 years when it becomes a lottery pick :)

The Lakers had D’Angelo Russell in for a second workout today. Jahlil Okafor had his second workout yesterday.

Okay. Don't flame, but in terms of quickness and ability to move with the ball - Jahlil vs. other Centers - he looks like LeBron vs. PFs.

Certainly makes the "not explosive enough" criticism appear to be off-base.

The explosiveness he shows offensively should be a good indication he's more capable defensively than he has shown so far in his very young career.

That baseline move should be there for him all the time.

Notice all the spacing emphasized in those clips. Looks like a 4 out 1 in kind of offense. Randle better develop a consistent jumper.

Still like Okafor as a roll man and or cutting to the hoop in his 1st year or so; isolation post-ups will come in due time.

I think the exact opposite about what Okafor's main offense should be.

But yes Randle needs to be able to hit that jumper next season.

No worries about Julius, he'll practice, practice, practice until he's money. Good form already.

Randle should be the least of our worries. He had a suprising good jumper already. With his talent and work ethic I'm certain his shots will fall at a good rate.

Towns wants to reunite with his buddy Wiggins in Minnesota. I guess we'll have to settle for Okafor...
