According to this video, Kobe worked with him alot. He adopted alot of Kobe's body language.

He's 6'5" in his shoes and he looks like he's 8' tall in that video.

Which video? Pushing off on the kid 12 second clip, or the long one ROFY posted with the Silver Screen and Roll comments? Not getting where "according to this video Kobe worked with him a lot" or "8' tall" is coming from. [IMG]

So is Jordan's China trip another tip from Kobe? To develop the Chinese fan base early? Here's the "Extended Directors Cut" from the clip above. If you listen really, really carefully [IMG] [IMG] , you can make out the Chinese Ooohs and Ahhhs and OHs!! when he does something good.

This was one of the best games of the season Clarkson had; my goodness. I remember the first half of this game; Lillard went at him and Portland jump out to a huge lead. You could see the score during the first quarter. Clarkson then went right back and actually cut the lead down going into the half. At the end of the 3rd quarter, while Portland was only missing Matthews, Clarkson hit a shot to cut it down to 11.

So, you had Lillard, Aldridge, Lopez, and Batum. If Clarkson had a healthy Randle in this particular game, it might have been a different result. This kid is a freaking stud. Pull up 3's, running transition, navigating pick in roll expertly, mid-range game, etc. I'm of the opinion when he gets some help next year, watch out.

The chemistry between him and Tarik is fantastic.

If we end up having too many cooks in the starting lineup with Kobe, JC, Randle, and Okafor, I wouldn't be opposed to moving JC to the bench to just pick-and-roll teams to death with Tarik. The way those two worked together against a decent Portland defense was great.

Clarkson certainly has game, and he has the confidence. He is probably the main reason I have no problem passing up on Russell. The way Clarkson played last year, and Randle's potential is also why we shouldn't even think about the Cousins trade if any of them are included. For the first time in a long time we got some young guys with real potential, lets roll with it.

It's unlikely, but not impossible that we may have a starting five of Okafor/Black/Randle/Kobe/Clarkson if we strike out in FA on sfs.

No way we start Black in that situation. We'd be more likely bringing back Wes Johnson or starting Ryan Kelly.

But yes, that's definitely a doomdsay possibility. It won't happen because SOMEONE is going to take the Lakers' cash this summer, but it's a doomsday probability if the league forgets we exist :)

To be completely honest I wouldn't be mad with that lineup. The #2 pick is just so full of win it has already exceeded my expectations for this summer. Any FA signing is just the cherry on top.

Hopefully Clarkson inquired with Kobe on some of the same offseason shooting regimens he gave Ariza back in the summer of 2008. Once Trevor stuck to those he came out shooting like an animal in the 09 playoffs.
