    Anyone depressed yet?

Glad I am more a Lakers fan than a Dodgers fan. This is almost soul crushing, at least the games were in Atlanta, Let's see how they do in LA. They simply have to win the next two games or the series is over.

I pretty much expected to lose this series even before Game 1. Our bullpen is simply gonna be stretched too thin in a seven game series, especially since the hitting has gone to s***. Game 5 will be another bullpen game if Scherzer can’t go, but I expect he will.

actually no. We can absolutely lose the series. Hell we could be swept or we can win the next 4 in a row.

All that being said I don't think they are they better team and in a 7 game series I will always bet on the better team. The Braves capatilized on some mistakes by us and some fortunate bounces too. Its different if we were getting manhandled and just look totally lost. Truth is our "timely" hitting is sucking a** right now. Trae Turner, Justin Turner and AJ especially havent done anything with the huge chances they have been given. I wont doubt the team that won 106 games.

I WAS depressed last year down 1-3 to these same Braves. And they had Acuna then. They taught me not to give up too early.

This team is so bad at hitting when it matters too many times with this much talent. They are an extremely frustrating team to watch.

No hits to the corners, no hits to the walls, nothing. singles or homerun or really bad at bats with a few walks.

We are snakebit. Two errors and a TERRIBLE umpire call on the strikeout pitch. We should have been out of the inning clean.

I will say, that this is on Roberts more than anyone. He should not have pitched Urias in the 8th the other night. He should not be playing Lux in Center at the heart of the defense.

He could have all those go well for him, problem is still not hitting the damn ball. Not hitting the ball when it matters on a regular bases is killing this team.

Dodgers need a new voice in the dugout. Roberts has managed better the last few months but they need a jolt. Too much talent to get dogged like this.

Should be 2-1 Dodgers, Puffy. Two Dodger errors and a horribad umpire call on a Buehler strikeout pitch and the Braves were gifted 4 runs.

The balls and calls went the Giants way last series. The braves got some lucky bounces in game 1 and 2. So, im not shocked.

Let me backtrack to this for a second.

I don't think its on Roberts. He has actually managed the hell out of this team. You get blown up bat blooper, a bad throw missed tag (pollock throw), A bad choice to catch the ball late (smith at the plate), and like Ox said we have not hit situationally especially Trae Turner (pollock and JT too) is killer. We have left so many on it isn't funny. In the end, these boys have let the bullpen down.
