Jansen again inserted in the 9th almost blows it walking 2. He should be a set-up guy nothing more. His numbers aren't terrible this year but in big games, and tonight and every game down the stretch from here on out is, he shouldn't be put in position to win or lose us a game with the pressure on the line.

Funny, yes, but hey, he does have a fantastic arm. Maybe an opposite Rick Ankiel project lol.

But now that he’s out with a cracked rib, we may not see him anymore this season, which may hurt us defensively, especially in the playoffs.

Man. Buehler's looking a little spent. Pitches aren't as sharp last few outings. I wonder if he's feeling the grind.

He was the best pitcher in baseball earlier in the year. Now not so much. The good news is that Sherzer is.

I agree, despite his blah outing today, but we got the W. Puds n gints tied bottom 9th, hope the Puds don’t pud again today.

Also, Roberts said today if the Dodgers get the WC, Sherzer’s on the hump. Big surprise, but it’s official.

Are the Big 3 starters gassed? Sherzer, Buehler and Urias all laid eggs.

That's what I'm afraid of, but at the same time, I should crawl out of my Dodger bubble and think the other playoff teams most likely have the same probs. At least that's what I'm hoping.

Craziness, man. I heard it on the radio last time they did it, and was listening last night when the radio feed went out right before Seager launched the game-winner.

Real happy for Bellinger. Pujols looked just as happy for him as well.

LA Public Library is the best. Dodgers just finished sweeping the puds for the third consecutive series, and this is what they post:

This is such a gut punch to watch. Kersh is devastated.

Alright time to do the real damage. Got to give it to Giants they had a hell of a season and deserved the West just as much as we did. We left too many wins out there. All that is erased now. 1 game to get to the Giants to see who really is the best team in Baseball. Our bats seem awake and despite the couple of preplayoff eggs pitched our staff is poised.

I hate 1 game series but we have the 2nd best record in MLB so we better beat these fools.

Can't be mad about winning 106 games. But it sux to be either the Dodgers or the Cards after this Wildcard foolishness.

I don't mind the wildcard but wish they'd make it a 2 and 1. Best team has to win 1 game. lower team has to win 2. Im not a fan of the idea that a team could have a single bad game and be out. In a series you can recover and the "best" team will usually win. It didn't matter if we won the division or Giants won the truth would still be 106 win team would play 1 game to stay in the playoffs. That is crazy.

Yeah, I hate the WC too, but hey, it’s money.

I’m feeling better about this team now, but losing Muncy is a gut punch (a hard replay to watch, btw).

    This Wed. Sherzer v. Wainwright.

    Let’s go Blue!
