My goodness. Max Sherzer pitches an Immaculate Inning, AND gets his 300th K in the same day.

    Ridiculous

He pitched his butt off today like always. 9k's in 8 innings of 1 hit ball. What more can he do. Glad he got some run support

If we have to wildcard game... MAX should be the pitcher. This dude is nothing but nails, period. I think Walker better be taking notes from this cat. OMG dude is stupid great. He lost a perfect game on an excuse me flick the bat out there double. What a game

    Watch Roberts start Kershaw...

If he starts anyone but scherzer he should be fired

If for any reason Sherzer can’t go, then I’d go with Urias. But yes, Sherzer is our ace.

Urias is a luxury. But, I would start them in this order all through the playoffs:

Sherzer / Buehler / Urias / Kershaw (If a 4th starter is needed)

    You'd take Urias over Buehler?

i get the thought but Roberts isn't getting fired unless we lose the game.

I def think Max is an Ace and could (probably should be) the ace for this team but I don't believe he would come in like that personally. Politics in the room is big overall imo. I think pecking order will still be Kersh, Walker, Max (could flip those two in this case), Urias. I also think the where we are playing would matter too. On the road I def feel it would be Max or Kersh. At home the list above. That all being said, Kersh prob drops coming off the injury unless he looks like old Kersh in his couple of games he should get.

That's the problem right there. You don't win games with politics you win by making the best decision for the team. A manager worth his salt shouldn't give a damn about any of his players egos when it comes down to winning. If you're a producer you're gonna get playing time bottom line. It's this line of thinking that has cost us in the past playing guys like Jansen and Kershaw when he shouldn't have and exactly why I don't think Roberts is the man for this job. If a player really cares about the team and winning he'll see the right thing to do. Anyone who's ego is bigger than the team shouldn't be on the team anyways imo

Scherzer should definitely get the nod if we have to play a wildcard game and I like Buehler as the next option followed by Urias. I wouldn't let Kershaw or Jansen anywhere near this game

Yeah, I think I would. It’s not a slam dunk, but I think he’d be my choice if Sherzer’s not an option.

That said, I wouldn’t be worried a bit if it was Buehler. Any of those three.

Yeah. I’m cautiously optimistic, but then again, we’ve been playing pitching poor teams like the puds n snakes. I’ll definitely take it though.

Love how Max is raking with Tio Albert’s bat, lol.

Belli got a hit! Up to .162!

    While Urias is at .189.

Now for us and the puds to hold their leads and we're back to 1.5 down.

Yeah, but he robs way more than getting robbed, and he, maybe along with Trea, are the only two who can hurt you all five ways (Trea’s only weakness is his D—just good). But it always seems we play better with Mookie is in there and healthy. He always seems to make at least one quality play every game.

He's top 5 in the league for sure. They were comparing him to Trout but he's not even close imo. Nobodies ever done what Trouts done since he came into the league. Imagine if Mookie was 6'4" 215lbs though damn. He's good at his current size but if he was even bigger..

And they finish em off. Very nice. Now just one clean game back.

This weekend we get the Reds, who are fighting, and the gints get the Braves. Hell. We may catch frisco by Sunday. We’ll see.
