Collison was probably just getting some run as a former UCLA guy. Nothing to see here.

I don't care what happens during the season, just give me a Lakers vs Nets finals match up where both teams are healthy. King Kong vs Godzilla.

Now that Dwight can hit the 3, we’re probably going undefeated.

man, rondo's hands are huge. i wish i could pull off half that stuff.

howard's three actually looks really good. i wonder if we'll let him take a few, especially now that he's probably our starter and we could use someone who can knock that down.

that switch to the off hand finish from monk is hard even without defenders.

    dislikes:

nunn's gather and release point are really low, especially for a small guy. he's athletic enough to probably get the space, but it's really noticeable in the footage.

howard needs to abandon the ball-handling and face up moves, imo. or people need to actually correct his footwork instead of just patting him on the back, because most of those pivot moves are travels (establishes pivot, then uses it as the plant leg--refs will see that right away).

lol, westbrook's workouts against the tiny bat squad are...interesting.

Nunn another athletic guy who never cared why it is called a “jump” shot. So it’s not. But that’s OK he makes up for it by as you say shooting it with a low release point. :D Has to be quick for his “set” shots. Just get em off I guess, however, and make em at a good clip anyway …. hopefully.

i mean, it's worked out ok for him so far. just one of those things that proper coaching would have corrected by freshman year, imo. some of these guys are just such great athletes that they can get around this stuff.

honestly, the pervasiveness of what i would call the "push" shot among guards in the current generation is pretty surprising to me. true jumpshots really help you get your balance and go vertical, and gathering and releasing higher help reduce motion and chances for error.

but again, whatever, nunn would destroy me in any shooting contest.

Best shooter I ever played with had the weirdest form on his shot. Kind of a Silk Wilkes side spin sling shot. But it always went in. I was surprised if he missed.

The season is so much more relaxing when you know you are going to win the championship ahead of time.

Lot of FTs coming our way

The older players can use an the in game breaks they can get.

Selfishly as a fan living in Eastern Standard Time, I hate anything that makes the 10:30 PM games any longer than they already are.

That must suck, JSM. It was always so cool for me as a kid listening to Lakers, Dodgers, Kings games and hearing all the final scores trickle in during the game. And by the time our game’s over, maybe one or two games still going on but just about over, where you guys have to wait till 10-10:30 pm for the left coast games to even tip off. Sucks man.
