I still can't get my head around this. I have a feeling we won't see much "wall time" next season (maybe just a bit in the first or last episode). Jon might be dead (at least in the show) or maybe he will be reborn as Azor Ahai?

    For the Watch!

The Ramsay scene was great: "Ahhh... the sun is up, the birds are singing, lots of enemy corpses all around us... and someone even survived the carnage, just so I can stab him in the back. Lifeisgoodman!"

    My speculation about Jon Snow:

He will be resurrected. I am 98% sure of this. And I see only two possibilities:

    1. He transforms from a reluctant hero into a vigilante, who is not bound by the oath anymore. He goes south with his Wildling army, to exact revenge on the Boltons and the Freys.

    2. He goes full "heel", in a more dark and twisted turn (which wold be typical for Martin), goes north and somehow gets involved with the Others/White Walkers. He leads them south after he brings the Wall down, and then purges Westeros of human corruption and greed. We learn that White Walkers are not actually "bad guys". There are no typical bad guys in GoT.

The reason I believe this is that Mel and other Red Priests are working for the powers they do not understand. They are being manipulated by the Thee-Eyed Crow (Brynden Rivers, who is a Targaryen bastard and is teaching Bran Stark to "embrace the darkness"). Their blood magic comes from the same source behind the magical forces of both Fire and Ice, and these forces are going to destroy the Seven Kingdoms together ("A Song of Ice and Fire").

That Ramsay scene was random as ****. The D&D guys are pissing me off with how they "love" the Boltons... they look like freakin green berets out there. Ramsay and his 20 men "crew" basicly single handedly defeated Stannis and his army.
    As for Jon,
If he's ressurected, he's released from the NW oath. He'll for sure go to Winterfell and do some DAMAGE:cool:

He's going to do damage alright. If I am correct, it's going to be some global damage that most people don't see right now. They want him to be a hero.

Melisandre's aptly timed arrival back to the wall. She sensed blood from "The One True King" in Jon, and tried to get it, but Jon refused.

If the rumors hold true, behind R+L=J, that Jon is the bastard of Rhaegar (Son of Aerys "The Mad King") and Lyanna Stark (Ned's sister), then he does have the blood the one true king. I personally thought the ending scene with all the copious amounts of blood coming from Jon was being highlighted as a clue, as to say, that's what is going to bring him back. If he is of Targearyan descent, and maybe the Watch tries to burn his body in fear that he may turn into a wight, he may not burn (like how Dany didn't when she went to save the Dragon eggs).

Other clues: Earlier in the show, Arya ran into a Red Priest, Thoros, who used blood magic to resurrect a man (Dondarrion) multiple times, the one who fought the Hound. Perhaps Melisandre will use blood magic to bring Jon back, and he will rise from the flames as the Watch tries to burn him.

There is also another prophecy in the books about Azor Ahai, an ancient hero who defeated the Others (White Walkers), that he will be reborn as a descendant of the Mad King, which Jon is. Instead of returning as Jon Snow, he will return as Azor Ahai in Jon's body.

Anyways, the next season should definitely be focusing on the story of Bran until it is revealed.

I like #2, a lot. Especially the subtleties of the White Walkers being more than a generic zombie army. I could see that being a huge plot of the next two books, but I feel like the show would just dumb it down into a basic twist of Jon becoming evil.

I actually read a really awesome theory/idea on Reddit today. There's nothing that indicates it might be true but I think would be really cool. It's more directed towards the books, but I guess it could apply to the show as well. Mel revives Jon but we no longer get any POV chapters from him in the next book. We don't get to read his thoughts, we only see him through the eyes of other characters. Suddenly the last chapter is a POV from Jon ... except now he's a wolf. It's revealed that he actually did warg into Ghost before he died. Meaning that the blood magic that Mel used from sacrificing Shireen accidentally revived someone else into Jon's body. Possibly Bloodraven, who manipulates Bran into helping him do it, for nefarious purposes.

Where did you find that they revealed Jon warged into Ghost?
