Chicago is looking nice. Seems that “meeting with the Clippers” was just some leverage from DeRozan’s agent.

Jordan isn't the smartest dude in player evaluations.

    so biggest questions:

    - where do we use the MLE?

    - what do we do with Schroder?

He seems to like veterans, so I'm guessing he's interested in Charles Oakley, Horace Grant, and AC Green. But you're right. The free agency list is pretty much garbage at this point. Our only hope at getting better is S&Ting Schroder for something valuable. Milsap for the MLE is probably the best we can do there.

Could Nunn be an option for the exception? We do need a backup PG.

yeah, i don't mind snell at the minimum at all, but portland is not making a strong case to lillard.

felt like dallas and portland both needed to be bolder than they have been.

I'll watch some Bulls games. They look exciting on paper.

We might as well keep Dennis at this point. 1 year, trade as expiring later. He does what he does best: backup scoring PG. Except if the FO has something up their sleeve at this point.

    re: chicago:

they going to play derozan at the 3, i guess?

wonder if lonzo will be able to distribute as necessary in the halfcourt.

they have some talent, but i don't like the fit. seems like there's not a clear philosophy.

Monk is a great pick-up especially for the minimum. News outlets are shocked the Lakers got him for the minimum.

he must have gotten word that we weren't pursuing any big names to round out the backcourt. lots of visibility here.
