I think Westbrook and AD will be the only players crossing half court on fast breaks next season

My mood was lightening from the sheer comedy of us signing exclusively ex lakers so far, but then this pissed me off all over again. How do you let AC walk at that price, that price is not only fair it’s maybe even a bit under fair, 4 years 40 mil doesn’t sound unreasonable. We’re gonna regret it.

Caruso was one of our bright spots before LeBron, and one of them when LeBron was injured to finish his first season with us. He can play next to anyone because he doesn’t need the ball, he just plays hard and makes winning plays on both ends of the floor. I’m still stunned at our decision to let him go. Once upon a time we paid friggin Luke Walton what we did, but champion Caruso can’t get the modern equivalent of that? SMDH. I’d be madder if we didn’t have 4 stars now and have added some shooters in Ellington and Bazemore at least.

I'm starting to wonder why we haven't resigned Tucker yet. Obviously Rob wasn't given the green light to spend whatever he wanted. That spend wisely comment is coming back to me now.

It's a minutes thing though. Adding Westbrook and keeping Tucker was going to squeeze his playing time, everyone wants "shooters" too. Alex at 10 million and we seem to be on a budget it doesn't add up.

    Add Bazemore to this list…

Starting to get a little nervous. Less room in the rotation for higher impact players I was hoping for.

Caruso sure did a hell of a job on Jamal Murray 2 years ago
Caruso was a nice role player, playing with Lebron James and AD backing him up on defense. He was a solid technical defender, but when he faced a Harden, Murray or Booker, he didn't stand a chance vs them one on one. I will miss his hustle plays and his grit on defense, but he was a poor shooter in the playoffs, last playoff run he shot a measly 29 percent from 3 point land. Certain players game rise when you play next to a Lebron, Kobe, Shaq whomever. He will be missed, but not as much as people think if Pelinka completes this roster with more added components to compliment the big 3

Yeah. The budget must be tight if that contract was enough to break us. That was a small market move letting him walk for that little when we currently only have 3 guards on the roster, one of which is 20 years old.

This is a bad sign. If a 9 million dollar a year contract is enough to put us off when we have Lebron, AD and Westbrook on the roster, I worry what happens once Lebron leaves since we are operating on Hornets budget.

It depends on who we finish with, I hear that it's the Lakers or Golden State for Mills, and we don't know what happens yet with Schroder.

With $5.9M MLE left I would love to see the Lakers get Patty Mills.

He would be great off the bench. Solid 3pt shooting and can manage the offense when Westbrook sits.

Loving Bazemore and Ellington for spacing.

I don’t believe Rob would let Caruso go unless he was working on a big trade for a shooting guard. I think he has to be working on expanding the WA trade to include Heild or something similar.

The Wizards have to want Schroder though or the Hield deal is hard to see happening. The good news is that Dinwiddie hasn't signed with the Wizards yet.

The Knicks? If Melo goes to the Knicks at the end of his career he truly is a loser. C’mon Melo, ring chase.

That's ironic considering that the Nets and Warriors, have the highest payrolls in the League by a wide margin.

    Lock these two up.

After that, ask Redick and Millsap if they want a ring. I think geography eliminates JJ and money eliminates Millsap, unless Mills takes the min or splits the MLE (would net each like $300k extra). After doing due diligence there...I bring back Wes. Then call Gay, Iggy, Nunn, Bradley, and if they let it go to voicemail, then you can take Danny Green's call.
