    I find this hard to believe. And additionally who is leadership in the analytics department compared to the plans of Rob, LeBron, AD, Klutch and Jeanie?

    Westbrook trade?

    I don't like it, if the rumors are true. We need shooting, not someone you can ignore on defense at this stage of his career. Remember how bad he was for Houston in the bubble?

    The Westbrook that can get to the hoop at will is gone. He can't play off ball, and we need that with Lebron.

    This trade makes zero sense.

    can someone explain how is it possible to get Westbrook and Hield for KCP/Kuz/Dennis/Montrezl? Seems the salaries won't match and which team would get who?

    Lakers will get a playmaker now, Lebron isn't 25, he can rest more with Westbrook running the show, Lakers will be competitive with Lebron on the bench.

    I am not - and never was - a fan of Westbrook's shot selection. But I am a fan of his serious, fiery approach to the game. This guys plays a lot of games and has never showed up out of shape or unprepared. What does this mean for us? It means we need to get Melo ASAP and a couple of shooters willing to sign cheap. Or if we can eventually flip Dennis for a shooter, plus a vet shooter to sign cheap. Wish we had a mobile, shooting center, but hey... we might be able to just pound teams inside, under the basket most of the time. Or move AD to center permanently and let him chuck outside shots, LOL (I know, it won't happen). There's no way we're done after we get Russ. And you know what...? People would love to see him in the finals against his old friend, Kevin Durant. Can you imagine the intensity of Westbrook in this matchup?

    Getting a primary ball handler was just as big of a need as shooting imo. Russ isn't perfect for us but I can't really judge it until we see how the rest of the roster turns out.

    I feel like this has to be the hold up? If the only sticking point is a second rounder from Washington, I’d imagine terms would have already been agreed upon.

    Feels like maybe we’re trying to work out how possible it would be to include a Schröder S&T into the framework. Of course, that would technically not be allowed to even be discussed per the CBA, so likely a delicate situation.

    Without Bron on the court, on offense was 29th and 27th in the past two years. That simply won't happen with Russ.

    The thing to remember, is that the trade doesn't hard cap the team, and Schroder can still be flipped for another 20 million dollar player. I guess the talk about Jeannie not being afraid to spend big, wasn't off-base at all.

    No such thing as shooting in LA. No one shoots well in LA. It's something we have to accept.

    Timely shooting has been there, when you have 3 stars evening the playing field, that's more important.

    Health is the only thing that can derail this. Nothing else.
