i don't think the spurs would work with us on an S&T. popovich has a real issue with us.

if they would do it, trez/kuz/22 for derozan is fair, i think.

getting him in a S&T would mean other things, though:

I think schroder S&T would be out, even for an exception (fuzzy on those rules, though).

and we'd basically have to lose/trade one of AC/THT/KCP so that we could fill out the roster under the hard cap.

in other words, we'd be trading most of the backcourt for derozan, and we'd have to fill out the roster with vet mins.

just not sure about receiving S&Ts this year.

won't happen, but i think philly could trade simmons/hill/curry to toronto for siakam/re-signed lowry at 25 per. would hard-cap philly and cause some issues there, but...i'm bored.

 

TJ Warren may be had for Kuz straight up? It's possible

 

rumor or your idea? tj's an upgrade on kuz as a third-scorer type. downgrade in other areas (i think kuz has made strides as an all around player).

They're top heavy on Guards. I can see them waiving/buy out Bledsoe. He's Klutch so you know what that means .... he's not the same of years ago but can be a solid backup.

 

valanciunas is the best player in the trade, but that's a lot of draft assets NO is moving for that upgrade. guess that's how trades work.

 

Move cleared up cap space to resign Lonzo or a replacement.

 

NO's in a tough spot with lonzo. tough to pay him what he wants, tough to find a replacement with what they'll have to offer.

and memphis is basically taking themselves out of FA with this, i suppose. which is ok, i think.

 

is valenciunas much of an upgrade over adams? he can shoot the 3 better but don't think he's nearly as good on defense as adams

 

i dont see adams as a good defender he can handle post players but hes as slow flooted as Gobert n doesnt block alot of shots either, pelicans were hella dumb to not only trade for him but giving him that contract was idiotic

 

I like Adams' toughness for the Grizz and they move up to the 10th pick.
