    Anyone here a Dodger fan?

Playoffs Friday night. Will Kershaw bring it like he has all season long?

Is anyone here a Dodger fan? Of course I am! Go BLUE!

Kershaw is going to be lights out, no question. The bigger issue is... what will Greinke do? If the Lakers can win the first two games, then worst case scenario the series comes back to LA and Kershaw again. No problem there.

We need our two star pitchers to carry us EVERY time they go out there on the mound. If we get 7-8 innings of 2-3 run baseball, we should win those games.

How about the performance by Madison Bumgarner? Building quite a resume: 25 years old, 2 rings, pitched 15 innings in the WS and never gave up a run, and yesterday became the 3rd pitcher to ever throw a complete game shutout with 10 Ks in an elimination game.

I couldn't even come in here after game one. I was too upset. Just really upset. I felt angry about the loss. Anger at Donny and at Kershaw and at Baez. I felt real sympathy for Kershaw too. Watching him melt down again was really rough. I don't know what goes through his head now moving forward.

But at least we've tied this series up. Now it's on Ryu and Haren to at least get us back home. Just take one game and we get to come back home.

Great performance by Greinke yesterday. Kemp the hero, series tied up. I just hope Hyunjin is fully healthy for Monday. God knows we can't rely on our bullpen.

    Also, damn you Carpenter.

I was upset but not pissed. I didn't disagree with Mattingly leaving Kersh in when Kersh wasn't pitching bad. Its easy to question it after the fact but letting him work out of it could of been huge for him in the long run. I wasn't so sure about the choice to bring in but maybe they thought the change of speed would get them. It backfired but I wasn't like OMG this is the end either. I was pissed though. I hate the Cards. They have been the Dodgers "C Bags" where we have to get over that hump to win it all.

Im hoping Ryu can bring it and we can give him some run support. A win in game 3 will be great.

Super pumped about the series being tied up at 1-1. Kemp coming up HUGE for us this season, and I'm real happy to see him regain his offense. I still don't understand Donnie when he took Zack out during last nights game. He was on a roll.

I wasn't mad at them rationally. I totally understood every decision that was made. I was mad at Kershaw for not tightening his focus when it became apparent he was in trouble. To give up that many runs in the WAY he did it is absolutely unacceptable. I don't care what your name is, you don't load the bases like that and then give up a double. It's not acceptable.

I understood the decision to leave him in though. I even understood the Baez pick. It's not Donny's fault our bullpen sucks.

Yea I was really upset with AJ more than anyone else because he never got up and went out to Kersh to slow it down, talk it over or anything. Kersh is a Kobe kinda guy he believes he can get out of anything and it failed big time. Even so, he left being only down by 1. We don't give up a 3 run bomb and its a different ballgame I think. Heck if Puig could put wood on the ball we may have gone to extras and won. In the end, I think the Cards got on a roll and could do no wrong that inning and we got caught with our pants down. We have outplayed them this series so far we just need to close the damn door on these guys.

Bullpen help is something that needed to be addressed this season, including the OF situation, but that was handled throughout the year. The bullpen is something that still is a problem. The only player that I feel confident that comes out of there is Kenley. JP is close, but even then I seem to hold my breath when relief pitching comes out. Super bummed about the performance of Wilson after the season he had last year. Dude was lights out. Totally different guy this season, and it sucks to see that. Wilson setting up Kenley was DEADLY for us last season. It gave teams something to worry about when the last 2 innings rolled around.

Yeah I mean I recall the bullpen being a STRONG point entering the season... We picked up that Perez guy who turned out to be a total loser. We re-signed Wilson who ended up being a shadow of himself. Paco got hurt. Even Jansen had trouble early in the season. Withrow got hurt and missed the rest of the season...

The only really good story out of the bullpen for us was League. He's been great this year.

Man on one hand it was nice getting a runner on 3rd early in the 1st. on the other hand not getting that run across with puig, agon and matt failing.

Ryu is looking nice so far

Ryu should have struck out the side, but he looked really good.

Ellis is on fire right now. Lackey looks hittable. We need to get to him in the 3rd.
